Baez expects the jury to believe that Roy Kronk stole a child's decomposing body, hid it for an undetermined length of time, and transported this still decomposing body to a new location around the corner from her family's house.

And then, waited from the first phone calls in August, until the last phone call in December?

Baez and the rest of the defense team can't see how ridiculous this idea is?

It's a stumper, ain't it? :waitasec:

Baez simply will not use the viewscreen. It would be so much easier- the witness, the jury, the attorneys could all see. Now we have 5 minutes to wait so he can flourish this board all around. JA suggests to use the viewscreen. Baez doesn't want to.

Baez simply doesn't know how. moo

You don't know how difficult it would be for blowflies to get in the trunk?

No. No.

JB holding photo UPSIDE DOWN. What a guy ...

There was no organic material found in the trash. Asked and answered repeatedly. Move on already.

Trash is normally correct..unless you have items decompposing:) ^i^

Ahh, thanks, so if I kill my husband and put him in the trash, it then becomes garbage - BAHAHAHAHA - sorry, couldn't resist.

LOL Now Baez says "the trash or garbage". ADMIT IT - it was TRASH. It was NOT organic material - aka NOTHING rotted in Casey's trunk but HER DAUGHTER!!!

I need a chill pill, this is making my blood boil.

Remember when the DT was trying to say that two other witnesses must have spoken to each other about testimony because they made the same distinction. Didn't they make a motion for mistrial based on that assertion?

This has to be a big deal to them that now a third witness is making the distinction, and is blowing that theory out of the water.

Obviously the trunk was opened at some point to remove the decomposing body and to put the trash and gas cans in. Flies are amazingly quick at finding a good source of their desired target.

JA: "May I have that photograph?" *Baez hands Ashton the blowup of trash collected from ICA trunk*
JA: "Do you see any organic material in this photograph?"
Dr. H: "Nope."

I had to leave for a few. How did the state do on cross

Dr. H excused. He did look at the Jury and give a slight nod in recognition as he got up.

I thought he'd have a creaky leather briefcase.

Whomever asked-- these are the state's witnesses.

I don't think our judge sounds too thrilled this morning, I wonder why??

Why does Baez need those pictures glued onto a piece of posterboard? Why can't he show his pictures on the video monitors?? Really - I'm serious. Does he just not know how to do that?

Is that a serious question or were you just making a joke?

Serious answer - he doesn't know how.

And, once again, JB doesn't know when to quit! Go Dr. H!

I want to go home with him..he'd be fascinating to talk to! ^i^

Disclaimer: Unpopular opinion to be expressed. I am certainly not a fan of JB. I do have to worry/ consider that a defense attorney who does not have an academic demeanor, but more of "every day" approachable demeanor, no matter how much he might stammer and flub on cross, [or be a Columbo] could possibly still be reaching and having more of an effect on a jury of CA peers?

I don't see him as all that write-off-able at this point in the trial. Don't hit me, but he does show some intelligence in the courtroom, some social intelligence. I will continue to worry about JB and his effectiveness, his jury influence until I see the defense's turn in this trial.

Dr. Haskell is excused. Love him! As for JB, lips zipped.

Recess for 10 minutes.
