I am seeing shades of the OJ trial here. The jury in that case was BURIED under CSI type minutia and ended up just ignoring it.

Apparently I am in the minority...but I think that if I were on a jury, I would want to know as much as possible about the instrumentation & protocols so that I could form an opinion about whether the lines of questioning were meaningful/the conclusions are warranted.

I believe that they found heart sticker residue on the duct tape and it was applied by ICA, I just don't think it was the 'puffy' heart. If I remember the measurements, the duct tape sticker was bigger than the puffy one.

This is one of the witnesses who did see the residue of the heart shaped sticker that Jose is trying to prove was never there. Or, if she didn't see it she is here to say she did not see it. I did not see it either. Did you?

How do you know the residue was the same size as the sticker? I don't know that because I have no testimony that says so, and no pic of residue to compare to sticker.

We don't I get your point and why you would disregard it.Your choice ,as a good juror. However :innocent: It's similar to putting in the computer searches for chloroform, then having high levels of chloroform in the trunk. The jurors can make their inference about the connection.

This witness contaminated a piece of evidence although the item remained in a plastic sleeve, she wore gloves and followed protocol...SO how did she contaminate the item then??

well, for one thing, the sticker is an item that connects back to KC , so I'm sure they want to attack ANYTHING that might connect KC to the duct tape, etc.....
I know that sounds duhhish......but that's just my thought about the importance of the heart sticker to the defense......as unoriginal as it may be....

Didn't this woman get the tape after the first woman used chemicals, which destroyed the imprint of the sticker?

Another possible area that will be called into question by the appellate court. If evidence is destroyed before a Defense expert can view it (and then the SA enter that destroyed bit into evidence), the appeals court may take that into consideration. JMO, though.

The sticker shape & the heart shaped sticker is one of the main things that the State is using to link the body to ICA. Take away that heart impression & the sticker, how do you connect ICA to the body?

The blanket? We know that blanket was at the house, and all of those at the house had access to it.
The Car? We know that several people had access to the car?

Without the sticker and its connection to ICA's sticker collection, you suddenly introduce several other options to who had access to the body.

Well, I don't have a doubt in the world that she drove around with Caylee's decomposing body in the trunk of her car for 3-5 days, so let's just go with that. ;)

A lot of heavy eye lids in the courtroom. Just looked around and saw 3 or 4 people struggling to keep eyes open #CaseyAnthony -jfell

Apparently they did not bring a spoon.
Sorry OT

All that was the truth about the heart shaped residue was spoken. A witness from the FBI said she saw it and the jury can either believe her or all of this "stuff" Jose is serving up today. I know what my vote would be...

And, I would now think that Casey did put the sticker because it would have been the weakest point for me from the STATE but now as a juror I would be really thinking it must have been there...

'cause I don't know about Roy yet and I don't know about Vasco...and I don't think George likes or has stickers...it seems right now...like something a loving mother would put with her daughter that just died in an accidental drowning...

but that still doesn't explain why "they" put Caylee in the woods or why the duct tape at all? And I would be wondering if Jose was going to now call LEE and ask him if he molested, sexually( Mallory! Why were you crying exactly now?) Casey.

:twocents:
I would think the jury just might cancel out the sticker evidence, (or non-evidence).
I am very interested to have JB question Lee, because of his statement to LE that the issue of sexual molestation would be addressed at the proper time.

JB made a point about not being able to match the garbage bags.

JB skipped the whole part of the story about who disposed of Caylee and what happened during opening statements. If the sticker evidence seems like it is tied to the body or that jury is buying it (and I do buy it), why not just imply through questioning that ICA was so heart-broken about leaving her baby with GA to be disposed of, she handed George the sticker to be placed with the body. The sticker doesn't have to be sinister, if the Defense spins it right and of course you believe their theory. She "could've" handed it to GA and not know that GA put the duct tape on the body or where he put the sticker. Of course, I don't believe it happened this way, but the defense could spin it that way instead of trying so hard to shoot the whole sticker residue down. I think admitting she gave it to GA for a part of their defense would do better than trying to discredit it. But, just my opinion of the matter.

Hope that made sense.
