Is this the defense strategy? To get these scientists to bore, confuse, kerfuffle the jurors with all this detailed testimony? What difference does it make if the temp of his machine is 250 degrees, it's 330ml air sample, off a polymer, etc.
Maybe the jury will glaze over, and look at CM and think wow, I guess this witness just made a point for the defense, I don't understand it, but CM and JB look like they've discredited something the state said so...
They (DT) spend so much time with all the minutia, then hardly make a point. It's maddening!
