Will someone please help JB understand what SUSTAINED means!!!!!

during examination the other side can object:

sustained objection means that question cannot be answered

over ruled objection means that question CAN be answered

eta: sorry... I thought you were asking what it meant LOLOL.. sorry

SA: Detective Melich, did Mr. Baez ever call you to inform you to open an investigation into GA for conspiracy to hide the body of his granddaughter, who drowned in a pool, and that you should track his cell phone tower locations and the duct tape he used on the body?

Detective Melich: No sir.

SA: No further questions.

Where did the tape go???

Just a guess but no one knows how big the roll was.It could have been close to the end of the roll.Casey uses it on Caylee,George puts some on the gas can,George uses it at the command center to put up posters and hold down table clothes?

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Melich laughs at Baez out side of court. So do most LE involved. He's a baffoon to them.

All I can say is, I hope Jose never needs the OCSO for an emergency (that's me saying that, not Magpie)

And after someone explains "sustained" to JB, they need to explain what "hearsay" means! :banghead:

So they only investigated KC. Makes sense to me. She was the first (real) person they looked into and everything pointed to her. Why would they abandon the obvious suspect to look into people who weren't very suspicious at all?:waitasec:
And considering she was the last person with Caylee. It's pretty darn logical to look at her.

Melich says the tape has been removed. He says there is no tape on it. He looks at a picture- and says yes. #CaseyAnthony -jfell

...it must have disappeared like some of the DT witnesses during/after sidebars, while the jury was out, this week

ICA was sneaking back home and taking all kinds of things from the house for those 31 days. It's not like she couldn't have used the tape to do her evil business, then put the tape back. Am I missing something?

Yeah, I agree. The rest of the Anthony's phone records should have been looked at too.

Casey herself was swearing up and down that Caylee was taken by the Nanny and that she had talked to her after she was taken. She was even given the opportunity to say that there was an accident at which time she swore that she was taken by the Nanny. She even told Lee that the Nanny said she took Caylee because she was a bad mother.

No one else was sending up red flags. They were all trying to find Caylee.

Sorry to butt in. I had to leave for the afternoon. Can someone tell me if anything newsworthy happened with Lee Anthony?

KC was the one who "lost" Caylee to the nanny...Caylee was last seen with KC...and KC was the one who lied to the 911 operator from the get go.

Jeff Ashton makes me feel all warm and fuzzy but Yuri Melich is a close second :)

I think Casey framed her father way back in the beginning. She had a reason for taking the roll of duct tape back home, and she may have been the one who put it on the gas can. And if George had duct taped the child then WHY in the world would he have used it in front of tv cameras at the tent?

If KC would break into the shed to steal the gas cans, then it's not unreasonable to assume she'd steal some duct tape.
