The judges chambers has a back door and a special hallway that gives him access to those rooms without having to go past the public or the cameras.

So how do we know that HHJP met with them? Was this meeting before court started or after the sidebar?

LOL, I know that's right. I hope I can sleep through the night.

However, I keep getting deja-vu, back to a time when I was working at a place where two employees had a big row on a Friday after noon. They were taken into the managers office, other managers came and went. We could hear yelling, one employee came out with tears streaming down her face. Rumors abounded over who would get fired, and what had happened.

Other employees called each other and emailed all weekend long. Monday could not get there soon enough. When Monday came BOTH employees were back as if nothing had ever happened, and we NEVER found out what happened.

I hope not...But this situation could turn out the same.:maddening:

Unfortunately, I think that's exactly what's going to happen. :( I think we've all wracked our brains and knashed our teeth all weekend (at least, I have) and come 8:30 am tomorrow we're not going to hear word one about it. And I find that extremely frushtrating. <<making ICA tantrum fists>>

Guys, humor me here. When did CA testify to the ladder being up and TIA! :)

She didn't Tulessa - she waffled on which day it was from her original depo. Originally she thought it was the 17th, 18th or 19th, but Friday she said it was the 16th.

LDB challenged her and then confirmed that Caylee would have been unable to lift the ladder up herself and hook it onto the side of the pool.

Baez is trying to infer that the ladder was left up on the 16th, that Caylee went up the ladder herself ( which is what the pool/ladder/Caylee/Cindy supporting her pictures were about) and apparently fully dressed got into the pool and drowned. And oh yes, was able to open the sliding patio door which is always latched, by herself.

And I have solved the puzzle of Caylee's missing shoes!

They came off in the pool and George must have fished them out when he was doing cleanup later and put them out in the garbage can in the alley or wherever stuff in left for pickup.

I think that CA really believed the Nanny story up until recently. I don't think that about GA and LA as much though. I remember in an interview with the police and CA despite everything that Melich explained to Cindy, she would keep bringing up things up about the Nanny that KC told her. Even though KC's lies make no sense and seem like stupid lies probably to most people, since they are so easily proved wrong, KC made up such an elaborate story of the Nanny explaining, the nanny's mother, sister, father and friends with names and all. Plus KC was telling CA this story for a long time. She was also telling her details of an accident that the Nanny had during the time that Caylee was missing. For the most part, KC was telling this story to CA. I think that CA knew deep down something was strange about her daughter, but at the same time believed her. I remember in an interview between someone in the fbi and GA, GA was very candid about KC. He seemed more inclined to disbelieve her and said that he did check up in a store KC said she worked and found out she did in fact not work there. I think after the remains were found, they really believed she died, but were just in denial for a long time and they still trying to give excuses for all KC's lies and to blame someone else....they couldn't believe that KC was that bad, despite all the evidence pointing to her, GA and CA could not possibly believe that their daughter could be so reprehensible.

Yup. They clinged to Zanny because the truth was/is too much to handle.

Thank you LG. Here he tells a completely different story.

I am personally looking forward to the end of this trial and no matter the verdict, I am not looking back. This family's drama is no longer worth my leisure time or mental energy. I definitely have no interest in reading some book written by or about this family. There will always be unanswered questions surrounding this case. Justice for Caylee is the only thing I can even care about during this last week of trial. :candle:

Me too Katana. I have already started not to pay any attention at all to any of the rest of the Anthony family. They just aren't worth my time. To be honest, I've been watching so much tv and reading online so much that for the past 3 weeks I have one of those lower eyelid twitches that comes and goes and just drives me nuts. I know it's from eye strain.

I will pay attention to appeals outcomes but I won't follow closely. The day the transfer KC to prison is the day I mentally write her off. :) JMHO

Did anyone understand the strange question by the judge as to "What is the defense theory?". I thought it was strange that the judge was asking the defense this question. This was only in response to letting some witness in, I believe. I never got the gist of it.

I think it was because the judge has to know what their theory is if he is to decide what testimony and evidence is regarded as 'relevant' to the case.
So IF they are going with child abuse by George then certain things are going to be allowed into evidence. But if they are abandoning that theory then it would not be anymore. imoo

Well if Casey wrote a book, I would love to read it just to try to get inside her head a little. I would already assume nothing was true, but her ability to lie is compelling enough. Just like reading her jail letters.

I can save you a lot of trouble. Here's Casey's book in a nutshell:

I, me, and mine. Casey Marie Anthony.

Oh, and a bunch of other, far less important words just for "filler". Lather, rinse, repeat. Because as far as ICA's head is concerned, it's ALL about Casey, all the time.

Hi WSers... I have a question that's been bugging me in my head. It has to do with ICA preparing to make a getaway in one of the news stories I read couple years or so ago. If I remember right, LE had stopped her in a car somewhere. If I'm correct in remembering that.. can any of you smart WSers point me to the correct thread so I can read up on it.
TIA :waitasec:

This happened after her indictment. Long threads about it. She wasn't making a getaway. I believe CA was driving the "long" way around the airport to avoid the helicopters following them as she drove ICA to LE to turn herself in. JB also took his sweet time getting to the jail too. After you find the threads, watch the video of her in the room with Scott, FBI. She was primping herself, knowing she was being videoed. Chatty ICA she was. :loser:

I believe that he asked that simply because the information the DT has been seeking on their CIC has not addressed some of the very important points they made in OS. And i think HHJP is correct in that the DT's theory may be evolving over time. jmo

So then, what did the DT's theory evolve to? What is the added elements of the defense theory? Anyone have a clue?

IIRC CA testified to finding the ladder up and a side gate open during testimony on Friday June 24th.

That was the day of the gas can incident correct? She was working that day because GA called her at work and told her about the gas cans. Major lying going on with this family!:maddening:

I've read a few other accounts of this, saying that DS's body language was placating or pleading, and JA was sort of "I don't know, what can ya do?" or similar.

I think DS was explaining that she had to go take a deposition and which of them was going to be present (or something) and JA gestured at Frank George who was on the phone just then.

http://www.wftv.com/video/28356011/index.html

This is also the clip where DS closes the laptop so Casey can't read it anymore (around 15:30). Also, she seems to be looking at JB (I think around 23:00) for guidance when they all come out. Doesn't look to me like she knows WHAT is going on.

I remember CA saying she still believed Casey was alive WHILE SHE SAT THERE, POST-MEMORIAL, WEARING HER CREMATION JEWELRY. Who did she think the cremation jewelry was "created" from- a stranger? She had dna evidence saying the remains were Caylee, is she so twisted (or such a liar)
that she REALLY believed Caylee was ALIVE??

I am just like... :waitasec:  :hand: :boohoo: :liar: :okay:

ya know??

he seemed adamant and like he was not buying whatever she was selling to him. But, body language ain't my forte so that's really just IMO

Many people have been dissecting the body language of the key players and speculating about what the meeting behind closed doors could possibly mean but I haven't read anything about the last minute of this video when DS approaches JA and LDB Saturday morning. FG is busy on the phone, LDB appears to be watching or looking to see if someone has left (just prior to DS arriving at the PT table) and JA appears to be quite animated during the conversation with DS. It's hard to tell if JA is smiling or not but he sure is moving his arms and head while conversing.

I think it has to do with questions of relevancy. The judge cannot rule something relevant or irrelevant if he does not know what the defense is. Some have taken this as the judge picking on the DT but the question was not posed to the DT in a confrontational manner; if anything it was informational and in the DT's best interests, as the judge can allow things for new DT theory that he might not allow based on existing DT theory.

When JB started his rant about not having phone records and State gave their come back along with info about a CD full of stuff you would think the SA Office would have check list of what is contained on each CD and and a list of exactly what was given to DT and date .. so they can pull out their confirmation sheet signed by DT as to what they received and dated ... Just saying
