It's my birthday too!! This is one year I was hoping no one would notice and I could just go about my business (trial watching that is) but the in-laws insisted on taking me to lunch. Wonder if they'd get too upset if I said I wanted to go to the drive-thru at McD's.

GM! I to thought the same thing when I saw the article about the huge fire. I pray nobody died. Last I read 12 were taken to the hospital. It was the biggest Hotel fire I have ever seen. My prayers go out to everyone, this is really sad.

Ok...wait...

If memory serves me correctly, didn't Casey "finger" Jesse Grund as the father of Caylee shortly before she was born? I recall that JG told his father, RG, that he felt he needed to "step up to the plate" but RG was suspicious of timing and pushed Jesse to get paternity test after birth (which eventually came back 0% probability). I also recall seeing photos of Rev Grund holding a brand new Caylee...

So if Casey perpetuated this lie that Jesse was the father, why would CA/GA even speculate that Lee was the father?

And if at the time of labor and delivery, Casey pointed finger at Jesse, where would this play into Lee not being allowed at hospital?

I know Jesse name has not been brought into trial by either side, but I wonder why SA did not cross exam Lee on this issue when questioning him about why so emotional about not being at hospital, etc? Foundation?

In fact, did Jesse Grund ever state whether or not he was at the hospital when Casey gave birth?

I'm not sure if I ever realised how hard it was going to be to get justice for Caylee - it feels like this defense team has been pulled to this point kicking and screaming every step of the way.

I truly believe Mason has had it with Baez going against court orders and making everyone look bad. Mason had a very good reputation before this case. Now Baez's incompetence is bringing him down. Could be the loud rant that was heard near the holding cell on Saturday? JMHO as always
