I used to attend a Compassionate Friends support group after my son passed, along with seeing a therapist & being heavily medicated for a few years.... it was a fairly helpful support group, IMO... but in all honesty, in ALL of the grief support groups I attended in the last 7.5 years, I can't recall ANY parents (now friends) who behaved the way ICA did immediately after the loss of their child, so I'm not sure what the DT is hoping to accomplish with this? *sigh*
