Bold mine

Take THAT, Wendy Murphy!

IMO, all the records would have been turned over to the SA. The SA or the DT would then have requested certain records be sealed by the Judge. So, it is understadable the Sheriff's Office wouldn't have sealed records. JMO

SD: Been preparing for release Sunday.

(concern about community outrage and how it will manifest itself?)

SD: History shows this comm will demonstrate peaceful resolve, nothing to indicate otherwise. Our protection of her stops when she ceases to be an inmate. If she continues to live here and there are credible threats to her safety we have an obligation. We will not provide any elaborate security/protection for her once she leaves. As of today, no credible threats ag her to move forward to prosecute these.

Tony Pip: Where do various agencies' responsibility begin end?

SD: Corrections: when she is an inmate. Once she leaves OCJ grounds and is a free citizen only thing we would do is facilitate thta departure. We don't know where she will land. Once she leaves that property, she is no longer resp of corrections or OCSO. We will assist in her departure from the corrections premises.

KB: No escort off jail property unless credible threat to her?

SD: If there is an overriding pub safety need for us, traffic or whatever, we will do our jobs in that respect. her attys will prep to protect her.

KB: At this point you don't plan to protect her?

SD: No

Once she leaves custody of the jail she is on her own! If some public safety need or there is some actual threat to her (if she keeps her residence in Orlando) which we would be obligated to protect her- then we have no responsibility to be her private security service!

Well there you have it. JB runs the police department!!!!!!:maddening::maddening::maddening:

As a lawyer representing his client he has every right to keep her from being questioned by police... Just the way it is in this country.

No credible threats against her at this time - So no escort! :great:

Thank you Kathi B!

I wish they would ask about the 'bad pictures' of Casey.

I think that's what that one reporter was trying to ask about but it came out in a jumbled way about pictures of "Casey and Caylee" that ended up being sealed. The detectives seemed confused by that question because it was asked so vaguely and awkwardly and they replied that nothing they had was ever seal, it was all turned over to the prosecution and defense. So once again we have no real answer about the "bad photos" of Casey.

SD: If we have another case of a child who can't speak for themselves, we will respond appropriately.

Moderator: Any other questions?

(None)

SD: Again I thank you all for coming, hopefully this has been fruitful for you we have responded candidly, as we move into future... we have other crime victims to take care of in future, thank you and good night

I hope the evil ICA moves to Los Angeles. If you call the police it's at least a 3 hour wait so if someone is trying to harm her, gee what a shame!!!

I'm not slamming our PD. Love them, just too many people here and too much crime and not enough Officers.

What are these "bad photos"? Thanks!

I'm now officially done with Casey Anthony. I have some closure after the presser now. I will always hold Caylee close in my heart and will never ever forget. I just cannot bear to read or hear anymore about Casey. Its killing me inside.

Love the way Sheriff Demming let the folks know that once released, she is on her own, they will not be her security force. Also no credible threat at this time to have them protect her.

Yuri also said he had seen all pictures released to the media. It doesn't sound like there are any pictures sealed.

Gee, none of them came across like the "railroading, co-conspirators" the DT made them out to be (and the oh-so-intelligent jury apparently believed them to be). :banghead:

Respectfully disagree. Police are not allowed to question a suspect who has counsel or has even requested counsel.

LE acted properly and worked very hard on this case. JBs client lied about this all along (imo) and therefore refused to pursue this with LE. imo, etc

I'm not speaking about the presser here, they clarified points to drive home maybe to the jurors. But since day 1, It was all about saving KC, NOT the poor little girl named Caylee. How often did we hear her name mentioned throughout the trial and what her suffering was. May the liars all rot together in He$%. :maddening:
