Or released from the Booking area.

Some times they book them in at the Lee County Jail, in downtown Ft. Myers, and then moved to them to Ortiz ave facility also in Ft. Myers. Not sure which is the more secure facility?

This morning's update states it is unclear as to how he was transported. Wonder if we'll ever know. (Just curious). Anyway... bring on those doc dumps!!! Praying for swift justice for Dr. Sievers and her loved ones.

If we trust Wink to have this detail correct, he was driven.

From NIN's link:
Only WINK News was there as Wright arrived at the Lee County jail overnight. He was driven from a prison in Jefferson County, Missouri, where he was originally arrested.

Thank you for checking!

Dislike that LE doesn't try and verify height for criminals. It does make a difference - somewhere there will be some juror who says "they have the wrong guy - nobody can change their height." In MO mugshots standing against the height chart shows 5'7"-ish in one, 5' 9" in another.

Notice he's shaved both his head and his cheeks to return to his comfort zone look of a genie.

Two articles this mention specifically mention only JR being seen at Walmart whereas past articles state both men were seen at Walmart.
I wonder why no mention of CWW this time around. Does it mean anything, or did someone get it wrong and another "journalist" merely repeated the information without bothering to think about it. Jeezopeez. It's looking like there might not be much to being a reporter these days. For a long time, they were jokingly called talking heads - merely reading what someone else wrote.

Was CWW actually seen in person or on surveillance at Walmart or not?

We've discussed how people can scrunch down, lean on a bent leg, or slightly raise their heels in order to appear shorter or taller, but it SHOULD MATTER for purposes of identifying people in custody and for the records.

By stating his height at 5' 11" and shaving for Lee County custody pictures, he could be successful in trying to confuse witnesses and jury pool.

Are you positive you saw this man? This man right here? Would you bet your life on it?

CWW made his first appearance in court this morning. News coming up on NBC-2 at 11:00 am.

Wright stood in a green smock flanked by deputies on both sides and answered the questions of County Judge Archie B. Hayward during the first appearance hearing.

A public defender is representing Wright, but Wright indicated that he wants a private attorney to represent him through the complex legal process of a second-degree murder charge.

Wright's next court date is slated for Nov. 16 at 8:30 a.m. in Courtroom 4-A.

Just as NBC-2 News stated that CWW appeared in a "suicide prevention suit", the National News broke in with something else! :(

A court employee rattled off Wright's previous charges dating back to the 80s from his 47-year life in Missouri, including: grand theft of a vehicle, DUI and various drug charges.

Maybe his BFF MS will pay for his private attorney! I don't think the suicide prevention suit is standard. I have seen other first appearances that don't show that.

IM4TRUTH - I can't find the video or article stating it was a "suicide prevention suit". Do you possibly have that link? Thanks!
