A pregnant man ?

I just cannot stop thinking about this....being pregnant was one of the most, if not THE most awesome experiences I have had as a woman...and I am really just highly offended by this woman that chose to live her life as a man just wanting her cake and eat it too! This is no "miracle", not even a freak of nature. Sorry. And that picture is just plain disturbing! Yeah I know, I don't have to look at it...and I won't anymre.

Until that "man" grows a penis or has one planted on her...she is a woman and this is ridiculous.

I totally agree..

I have no problem with his/her being gay/transgender..
My problem comes with his living as a man being pregnant.
You know parents of children schooling with this child will be cruel and kids will pass it on.

IMO they should have adopted. Why the need to be a half man pregnant?
Then tell the media?

These hormone treatments also altered his sexual organs. Thomas says his clitoris grew to the size of a small penis. "It looks like a penis," he says. "I can have intercourse with my wife."

You can do the same thing if you take steriods or use a pump to achieve a larger clitoris. It does NOT make it a penis!! It just galls me to know she is trying to pull this off and is actually getting all this press about it!! GRRRR!!!

This is totally sickening & revolting to me!
Why the press is giving it any attention at all is a mystery to me.
When I see him /her on TV I immediately turn the channel. I refuse to watch such craziness & wrote the News medias how I felt. :furious:

Good!!! It is crazy! She needs to sit down and shut up. Her child is going to have quite enough insanity to deal with once it comes without the circus she is bringing on it. Poor thing. :(

Can you imagine picking up feminine hygiene products for you and your hubby?

i think its all about the money he (she?) will be paid for interviews. slick, but a bit sickening to me.

i believe that anyone has the right to live any way they want to, as long as it doesnt hurt anyone. i just hope that by time that baby reaches school, they will have shut up about this.

Thanks for the update. I try not to think about it too much, but it seems like the baby will have a lot of love from the whole family.

I guess I am in the minority here, but I am happy for this couple. I am happy that a loving couple decided to have a child. There are so many people out there that DO NOT deserve to have children, that treat them horribly that can have children with no problem because they are "normal". Since this woman is something we aren't used to it's wrong? Just because this doesn't fit into our little bubble of a perfect existence does not mean that it's wrong. She IS a woman, apparently her wife couldn't have children so she got pregnant. She said that if her wife was able to get pregnant she wouldn't be doing this. I personally don't see anything wrong with it. Whoever said it earlier in the thread ( I'm so sorry I can't remember who it was!) that wanting children isn't a gender thing it's a HUMAN desire is right. Now the fact that she is supposedly legally a man confuses me, but whatever. I know Oregon is a little more....out there lol with some of it's laws. I read that they are going to be fairly traditional in the raising of this child...s/he will be daddy and wife will be mommy. I'm guessing she will start taking testosterone shots again now that the baby is born.

Somehow I am unable to figure out how to quote on this board anymore :( Anthrobones to answer your question he and his wife underwent artificial insemination at home using a syringe. Personally I believe that if there is someone who is willing to give a child a warm and loving environment in which to grow Im not really concerned about what form that person or persons come in.

:eek:Ridiculous the fuss made over this story..of course, the man is really a woman..now if a proper man gave birth that would be something to get excited about. Although Dingo, Shazz and I would hear the screaming from the labour room ,here in OZ.
I hope the child grows up to be a happy and loved individual....

If my hubby got pregnant Id sell him to a circus.
