I was incensed that Nurmi objected during Juan's quoting of this poem!

I truly felt like Nurmi, for no other reason than for being the person he is, was trying lessen the impact of this final, poignant expression from Juan's heart for Travis and his family!

I suspect they picked their foreperson as well before leaving the courthouse Friday hopefully for the second last time.

Yeah I guess one day to look at it is since they had only a short time ahead of them and I'm sure plenty exhausted after this week, that they could decide to just start fresh Monday. Maybe they picked a foreperson? (my fave pick of the moment is Juror 3, Housewife).

Got there and got to visit with the family and friends (long walk with Chris Hughes, you HAVE GOT to listen this sun to Tricia's radio show where he will be w/ me this SUn). And get THIS. I'm needing to get up to the pool but I got to have a private little sharing with Juan Martinez , Det Flores today after passing him our poster Jayarohh's poster he so graciously made and he was getting on the elevator and I sort of ran him down then told him I had more M&M's and this poster, he stopped and said "let's go see it". Then we went back to the victim room and I got to show it to him, share a bit of it , he asked MY feedback on how he did today (!!!), and he ordered me to be back Mon for the verdict.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok gotta run, just had to share.

WOW ! COOLLADY! That is so COOL! thanks for providing us with a insider's behind the scenes exclusive . Since the day you told us JM looked your way and smiled at you I was thinking, he likes her! and he's drawn to her, of course, KCL is so charismatic and beautiful, with such a strong advocate presence, everyone is drawn to your magnetism! I love how you are so humble "he's asking ME my opinion" I hope after the verdict, he and Flores join you for a toast. When he ordered you back for the verdict, did you say "It's a date"? maybe he asking you out? would you go out with him?

Well there is a little instant karmatic (not a word I know) secret about Jodi's money that most don't know and I'll post it AFTER she's convicted/sentenced cuz I just don't want it to get back to her. Remind me to share....just a little paradoxical piece of bird shootage I'm looking forward to enjoying. Not a real bird, a Nancy Grace receiving end kinda bird. lol

OMG you're so funny I'm over here dying laughing all by myself. First off, he's in a relationship like 10 years. She's a beautiful smart prosecutor all herself. Sure I'd go out to dinner with the TWO of them! Esp if they find me another handsome prosecutor to dine with (hey a girl can dream right? lol).

In all reality I said to my peeps "screw it, I'm stalking him" and ran over to the elevator, walked right in to his space and told him I had more MnM's and something else I wanted to show him and he said "let's go look at it" then the rest is history. I wasn't the frazzled mess I am sometimes when I'm daunted around someone. My point is, he's very approachable. A little birdie later told me they had cheeped in his ear about me saying who i was and he responded that he was very familiar with our case.

I had no idea if he ever knew who I was sitting there...but now , I guess he does!
 
I kinda grimaced when Juan began to quote John Donne. It might some back to bite him in the DP phase. Just sayin'....
 
Random thought mainly. I'm kinda of a hippie/bohemian type so things about the sky, sun, stars, moon, feelings, quotes, my "quitting smoking" progress. :)

If this jury agrees with his version of FACTS in this case and return a verdict of guilty first degree, he will then argue how the elements of "cruelty" according to the law line up with the crime and they will agree it fits and impose the death penalty. It's a formula really.

Unless of course they find something rewarding about this woman who has basically nothing redeeming (her sketches maybe?) to mitigate and decide to step out of the box and save her life.

Which, this death qualified jury, will not do.
