i watch wildabouttrial's livestream, and read the tweets im curious where he sits, is he in the gallery? i imagine him near the jurors sitting there dictating like a court reporter for some reason,,, also what does he/she look like?, and wonder if he wears salmon alot, ( he always mentions what everyone is wearing and likes to see salmon )

I hold his/her mystique. He/she has worked hard for it and I intend to conspire right alongside to keep it intact. He/she usually wears ... not salmon I'll say that. I sit nearer the jurors than him/her. :blushing: But I like him/her very much.

I don't shop at Walmart so I've never had to return anything. (I say I don't shop there because I just don't have an outrageous costume to wear) But, I think proving Jodi did buy and keep a gas can is very important in this case.

Extended thinking would bring to mind - why would she lie about this? Why would she cover up such a simple task? She is certainly hiding something if it is important to her not to be tied to an additonal gas can. This peice of information, which proves she lied (again) goes a long way toward her preplanning this trip to Mesa.

I agree with you on this 100%. She really thought she would NEVER be tied back to the murder.

She borrows two gas cans from her ex ON the way to murder Travis and PURCHASES one on the way, as well.

If I didn't know any better I would think she was a complete idiot- which she isn't. Jodi Arias was just very certain she was going to have no trouble getting away with this. What a fool. Poor Travis.

ETA... a dangerous fool. Is there anything worse?

KCL...This might be OT but the qustion will get lost on the other thread....How do I hear you tonight on the Ricki show????
I hope you are feeling at least a little rested today. Have some dinner delivered to your door if possible and just rest. Love ya for all you do:rocker:

ugghh,, and drag it on and on,, seems like a cut and dry case to me, it's the defense with their strategy, having all these things let in to court --jodi with her detailed life story, the endless pornographic testimony, the painfully detailed recollections of her loser life, the blame the victim untrue allegations of abuse and pedophilia by travis, It;s infuriating, that she gets special treatment, i never heard of a murder trial go on so long, for a non celebrity with a public defender, It's the defense's fault, not only with the interruptions , but how Wilmott and Nurmi use soooo much time re-stating things that were already said, her re-directs and re-cross are a replay of things she already said previously. Also, she brings up the most minute details in the effort to poke holes in any pros. witness testimony, that Juan Martinez is forced to counter ,,, such as the Dr's CV, the tests, etc., keeps losing the momentum of the real trial here, and forcing JM to clear up the points that JW brought up which have no use except to waste time, waste time, hoping to drag things out and confuse the jury. I am a little worried this has gone on too long, and with the jury questions, it seems like they are having a hard time trying to sort this all out, as if they have lost the point of the whole trial... i dont know, i was expecting more of a evidence case, anytime they would try to go into another smoke and mirror effect, i expected JM to basically show the evidence of the murder rather than waste time disproving the defense's testimony, It's like the defense team is has the ball, offense, and prosecutor is playing defense . Maddening.

Yesss...agreed with everything. I think that's the whole strategy for the defense...just pound it into their heads so all their thoughts get convuluted (sp.?). Also, I guess it's good there were so many question for LaViolette, but after Jodi and then Samuels, if I were a juror I would pretty much take everything else the defense gave me and just disregard it (know they're not supposed to do that, but heck, they're human!). So I was a little worried by the amount of questions for LaViolette, though good thing they were mosly bad for the defense.

anyone who was in the courtroom... did they notice who were the ones who wrote the questions? it would be interesting if they were from certain people who have been suspected to be pro defense in the past. i don't like some of the questions.

the lion and tiger one really bugged me at first because of the term 'would you throw out'. but the more i relisten to it the more i understand perhaps they mean 'whether or not he attacked her or she lied and said other's attacked her will her answers be the same' but then i worry that that person believes she has ptsd because she was attacked by travis.

Yup, to me it sounds like that. Sounds like they're saying, would you throw the test out if the truth is Travis attacked her but then she lies and says the ninjas attacked her. So that would mean they think the truth is that Travis attacked her. I know we're not supposed to read too much into the juror questions, but it sounds like that. Could be this person doesn't believe either event, but they why would they bother to even write the question?

Sad to say that I do in fact check the Maricopa County Court docket each day, due to long weekends bringing forth motions by the defense, but of course....the defense requesting jury instructions AND requesting surrebuttal and providing list of witnesses. So I am left to assume trial going to go well past Beth Karas's original prediction of verdict on May 3/4th.....

Ugh..wonder if JS will grant defense motion for surrebuttal...

I have to go out of the country at the end of May, so it better be done by then...I CANNOT leave right before the verdict comes in!

Hi everyone:

Just received a note from Samantha Alexander for my donation. I wasn't expecting that- she must be very busy:

I'm playing catch up on the emails but I wanted to thank you so much for your support, we really do appreciate it. I'm not sure what we would have done without amazing people such as you. We hope it will be over soon and we will finally have Justice and Closure.

Sincerely,

Samantha Alexander

Chris Hughes tweeted that if the truth of the email was known, it would destroy the defense. Yet his subpoena was lifted? Why the heck doesn't the prosecution bring Chris in and make the email known? Something isn't right. This whole trial seems geared toward getting Jodi a lighter sentence.

To clarify, just my opinion..perhaps JS will not allow the surrebuttal, perhaps it is only one witness ...perhaps this will not set anything back or extend the original date. JMHO. I just feel for this family and any setbacks on behalf of the DT frustrates me!

I cannot begin to imagine what torment they feel..having to endure day in and day out the character assassination on their beloved brother. I wish nothing more for them than any semblance of closure and justice for Travis which they so desperately deserve....

Ok...now I am going to grab my rosary beads and start praying...apparently the jury was given insructions for HEAT OF PASSION instructions...and defense requested charge of manslaughter be added.... I am thinking positive thoughts..putting out good energy...praying...EVERYTHING.

Slow down just a bit mamapena--the jury has NOT been given ANY instructions. It looks as though the defense filed motions. Nothing to be upset about at this time IMO. But praying, positive thoughts and good energy are always a good thing!

Thank you for the reality check...I guess now that we are getting close to the end it is a little unsettling and I get frustrated. Watching endless hours of testimony with the unsettling image of what happened to Travis just gets to me. Trust in Juan and pray for the Alexanders....refocusing now. Thanks again...

I am sitting in the boat of frustration with you, mamapena, but I truly believe, with Juan leading the fight, that THIS Jury with get it right!!
