All I know is I asked a former police officer why a man intent on getting himself in trouble would tattoo his mother's first name on his chest, and his answer was: "Because daddy was never there in his life and mommy always loved him, no matter what he did."

Oh Lawdy debs! My 24 y/o son could say the same thing, lol! BUT, if he EVER tattooed my 'name' anywhere on his body I would be extremely concerned!

My first thoughts upon reading today's news articles re: Ron and Misty's backgrounds -

Neither one are really locals, so don't be blaming Putnam County for how they turned out.

[Sorry, just had to get that out there.]

I don't think Ron really views TN as "Mom" or he would have put that in a tattoo. I think she enabled him, but had she really loved him she would have been there for him. I think she probably feels a lot of guilt now and that is the fuel for her fire. The fact that Ron has called a journalist and his Grandmother from jail are also telling. I used to send Mothers Day cards to my Grandmother, when she was still alive. When I got to be 21, she told me it was hurting my mom's feelings that I only sent Mothers Day cards to her, so I started adding an extra one to my mom. I do talk to my mom today, but I still don't feel like she was the one that put the hard work into raising me and resentment is hard not to carry as a result of that.

I am not excusing any of Ron's behavior due to his upbringing, we all have challenges to overcome as adults.

You might want to delete that before everybody tells you how awful your son or daughter is for letting your g'daughter be on the internet. ;D

I'm not saying that, but gosh, the grief I got over my driver's license on here - unbelievable.

Oh Good Lord...let them eat stale yucky dry cake that makes them choke...complaining about a little girl talking to Grandma or Grandpa online...maybe Mom was sitting right there....people, get a life. WOW...Where did that come from?:croc:

My bioMom did not raise me. She gets a card...generic one. My Foster-Mom gets the one with heartfelt sentiment, she earned it. I do not excuse myself from consequences due to my upbringing nor will I ever excuse Ronald or Misty.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one that selectively chooses their mother's day cards !

They keep a very close eye on her when she is on and they have her enrolled in Karate classes. LOL

I have been wondering if maybe that tattoo was not for Teresa. What if it was for an ex? Just thinking out loud. It probably is for his mother, trying to gain her approval and love since she dumped him off on his Grandmother. TJ said today on Simon's show that the reason TN gave Ron and sister up was because his sister did not get along with her mate/husband/significant other, something to that effect.

I know that the tattoo parlor visit included a touch-up of the Teresa tat, and as it was explained, he'd gotten that AKA MOM underneath that same day. When he had the Teresa put on, I don't know.

Ididn't get the impression that she was setting the stage to blame Misty. I got the impression that she was trying to explain Ron's situation & what led HIM to be involved. There seemed to be some anger directed @ Teresa, (by basically saying that he didn't change until SHE got a hold of him}, & a lot of regrets. I think GGS blames Misty for creating the atmosphere but to me, she seems to accept that Ron was involved.

Notice how it’s always someone else’s fault. Crystal (bad Crystal), we haven’t heard much about Amber except of course she wasn’t the best for Ron. Probably their child together wasn’t good for him either. Now, moving on to Misty, at first she was the best thing since sliced bread and peanut butter. However, that has ALL changed, and poor Ron, how he was tricked by this conniving women of seventeen.

If only they had known…things would have never gotten so out of control. Don’t you now Misty is in control of a major illegal drug operation? Yep, the same girl that said, “Numerical, what’s that”, and let’s not forgets that 10% of $50,000 is $10,000.

I hope no-one is blaming Putnam County for that. If my children behaved in this manner I would hold myself responsible. It all begins at home in my opinion. However I realize that no matter how hard some parents might work, some children grow up to do unthinkable things. I would like to believe that these parents did the best that they could but I have to be honest I am beginning to wonder.

Question for ya though. I know that The Croslin gang isn't local, but do you know where RC and TN are originally from if not from PC or surrounding areas, if you know TIA. : )

Debs...I have to believe there is something here...I have no tats but know many that do...They all can recite the details and reasons as to why they got them-- have a sibling, some 25 years+ in recovery that told me the tat he recently got with his daughter was the most meaningful and she shares the same sentiment. It was an event or bonding experience. He wasn't doing well when she was a kid and regrets tats he got then..but I believe that most tats are intentional and reflect something important about the, um tattee?

I read somewhere that he got the tattoo when TN was in an accident but I'm not sure if it was fact or rumor.

Ron Teresa and Annette were all born here, I think.

Teresa and Annette were raised here. Wait - not sure about Teresa because I think Annette got married in St. Louis one time. [Which doesn't really make sense - Welf supposedly werked here.]

Ron was apparently raised here and somewhere else - not sure where... Leesburg, Lady Lake, Wildwood, who knows?

LSS - I have no idea. I think they crawled out of the woodwork or something.

Thanks L....new article shed some light on my question after I posted it. Kinda ticked me off reading the article I feel lied to.

Who would give up their children for a boyfriend? Her children were young. Ronald was 3. How old was Crystal, 5 or 6? She didn't get along with him?
Give me a break.

I think the tides have turned because Jr. is now with his maternal family. The paternal grandparents are squirming and posturing for the privilege of having any access to him at all. Unfortunately for TN and GGS, a few legal problems (accessory, aiding and abetting, and obstruction of justice come to mind) may prevent their ongoing relationship with Butterbean ... even if Crystal found it withing her heart to treat them with much more kindness than they ever preferred her.

This is karma folks, take a snapshot.

I bet TN is terrified that someone is going to open her closet and ALL her skeletons are going to come spilling out..Oh well.. you know what 'they' say..You reap what you sow and I have a feeling TN has done alot of sowing in her time. ...that's nothing more than my opinion though..:

(snip, bbm) Not so sure about "karma" lol but one thing I do know is true, whatsoever a person sows, the same shall they also reap.

And there's some serious reaping goin on. Big time. JMO
