Her family reports that there were no signs of unusual behavior before her disappearance. Abigail’s mother, Leah Lawless, says that this is out of character for her daughter, who has not attempted to contact family or friends since she left. Leah wants her daughter to know that she is deeply missed.

Abigail’s mom, Leah Lawless, shared that earlier that night, the whole family had a nice dinner outing and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

She disappeared from her family’s home in the middle of the night Aug. 17 after family members fell asleep, and they are concerned that she may have traveled to Virginia with someone she met online.

Abigail’s poster is being featured on the Ring’s Neighbors app in an effort to bring more attention to her case. The app is a partnership between NCMEC and Ring.
