I was able to listen to it. It wasn't David Lohr though. It was about the congressional hearings about Bengazi (or however you spell that).

It makes me laugh (because we have to take our laughs where we can) that Arias thinks she can invent a personal history of violent/physical domestic abuse, complete with tales of bruising no one else ever saw/will testify to,
and get away with it, without the many genuine survivors saying 'Wait! Hang on a sec! You covered WHAT with make-up?'

If injuries such as the ones Arias describes were that easy to conceal, then we'd all have been doing it, instead of coming up with the endless array of excuses for visible bruising genuine DV victims become practised at.

It may well be that a professional make up artist could 'conceal' such bruising in the same way that they can conceal deep under-eye shadows, but anyone getting within 10 feet of someone with that much make up on their neck would know about it. A genuine DV survivor's friends/relatives/neighbours, work colleagues and even casual acquaintances would say 'I used to wonder why she wore such thick make-up', (or maybe, 'it was soooo obvious she was trying to cover up bruising, but I didn't like to say anything') but as usual we have no such corroboration from Ms Arias's friends, relatives or colleagues etc.

This holds even truer for claimed bruising to her arms or wrists.

Apart from the crime itself her continued reliance on transparently false domestic violence and pedo claims simply serve to emphasise what a truly despicable character Jodi Arias is.

ITO having been there myself, in the days of Cover Girl being the only foundation readily available and waaaay before make-up that didn't smear or "last" 18 - 24 hours. Wearing turtlenecks in July/August in Chicago's heat and humidity. Absolutely BS on the part of this perp, but I do understand the lawyers have to do what the lawyers have to do in perpetuating known lies by a known liar. Reminds me of one of Judge Judy's famous phrases when talking of teens, "If their lips are moving they're lying".

Wishing strength and grace to Travis' family tomorrow as things will become hard for them to hear and bear.

I have sat in court when my relative was in trouble (the same one with the mental health issues). I can say that although what he did was NOWHERE near what JA has done (stole things, assaulted someone, public intoxication), I cried. I cried for the older woman who had her jewelry stolen and sold on the street so she can never get it back. I also cried when they were sentenced because although he deserved to pay a price for his crime, I know he will not get the help he needs in jail or prison. I cry because it is a vicious circle that will be on repeat endlessly.
I will be there to show him I love him, but I will NEVER support what choices he makes. I will not try to help him cover his tracks, lie, or abuse or use anyone. Anyone, family member or not, who does these things for a person who committed a crime (and ESPECIALLY one with mental health issues) is enabling that person to justify their actions and go out and do it again. They need the TRUTH to be told to them, over and over again, whether they like it or not.

To me that is real love.

I also saw a video of this moment where Samantha needs a kleenex and calls that officer over to grab the box for because she can't even lean toward Jodi, and makes a gesture like, "I just can't..."

I think he drove her completely off the rails. He was tormenting her for some time IIRC. She put him through law school only to be **** upon after he became successful. I think he used his position in the legal community to taunt her at every turn. Not an excuse for murder by any means ... but the Woman behind a successful man in me sort of got it.

I totaly agree with y'all. Betty suffered alot embarrassment and humiliation rejection from her husband. He wasnt giving her anything to live on , she did put him thru school with sacrifices.
He was mentally abusive and she literally snapped.

As I said, it is often used in seizure patients particularly when nothing else seems to work well to control the seizures. It is only used rarely as anesthesia in patients that are receiving surgery. That's what people usually mean when they talk about anesthetic drugs... as an anesthetic for surgery.

So, it appears that your daughter received this drug along with a number of other people as a seizure protocol. I hope that despite how aweful and frightening it must have been that what the doctors did proved beneficial for your daughter. (((hugs)))

Could that have been PHENOBARBITAL? That would make more sense for seizures' IMO

I think we have all heard, HEARD that she was a heavy note taker and already has a book deal (JA 'mother') Yes that same woman who wields the horrific wooden spoon. Good think JA wasn't raised the way many people of her mothers generation were in america and that was with a belt. I think she courts the media; her mother, just like her daughter. There was something very unsettling about her G'mothers behavior in court. Even more than her mother and aunt.

i get that people don't want to blame sandy and her husband for jodi. but they did raise her. they've known her all her life. i think they had other kids, they were running a business and they let a lot of things she did ride, thinking it was a 'phase' or that it would pass, or whatever. buying time and hoping things would get better.

i think the ariases were ignorant of what they were actually dealing with. they had this one kid who sucked the oxygen out of the family, and they looked the other way because they didn't know what to do. when she hit her teens, things really blew up and then she left. who knows if there were teachers or counselors along the way who tried to head off this disaster. in any case, someone's dead because of her, and i can't entirely say her parents are blameless in this situation.
