Tuesday, April 25th:
Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am PT) – CA – Diego Villa Torralba (newborn-12 hours old) (July 19, 2019, Oxnard; strangled after birth) – *Diego Villa Torralba aka David Luna Villa (21/now 24) “father” arrested (7/19/19), charged (7/23/19) & arraigned (9/30/19) & re-arraigned (10/7/21) with murder & assault on a child by means of force resulting in death. Plead not guilty. $5M bond.
Trial was set to begin on 2/7/23 canceled due to guilty plea.

2/27/23 Update: Torralba plead guilty to all charges. Sentencing hearing on 3/30/23. 3/30/23 Update: Sentencing hearing reset on 4/25/23.
4/25/23 Update: Luna was sentenced to 25-years-to-life in prison after pleading guilty to First Degree Murder for killing little Diego just hours after the infant was born.
*Andrea Torralba Comacho (20/now 24) ”mom” – 1/20/23: Plead guilty to all charges. Sentenced on 4/20/23 to 15 years to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
