I wonder if anyone ever asked DB about whether HE carried gas cans around for trips. The only place I can even fathom for carrying a gas can is going through Yuma, Az. which is basically the same as going through the Sahara Desert. My trips through Yuma have been via Texas.

I lived very close to Yuma, and even still you can fill up there and get to the next gas station without the fear of running out of gas. I call BS on the gas cans. Now water, that is a different story. I carry water (for drinking) on the off chance of se type of mechanical problem and having to wait for help. Thank goodness that hasn't happened.

And how ironic that for 7 jurors, Jodi was a female intruder -- much like the female ninja she described in her second story. You see, she was telling the truth after all.

Any idea why it wasn't all 12? From the vote, five thought she was not an intruder/unwelcome after stabbing him? I'm stuck on why they didn't find for felony murder. JM explained it perfectly....how they didn't get there with the 7 who did doesn't make sense.

The jurors are under admonition from the Judge not to watch any media on the case. I believe they are abiding by that.

(I have always thought that ANS judge was a bit weird. Didn't he break down in tears on the bench at one of the custody hearings or whatever?)

Yeah, Judge Larry cried in court. He is odd but perhaps it is cuz he reminds me of a few of my New York friends.

:moo:

-Donovan
-Aunt?
-Mom

ALV not allowed back and Dr. Samuels crawled away.

No exes, she has no female friends.

Maybe an employee of Estrella... that's it.

Can a felon speak on behalf of a felon? I think JM would have a field day with her :)

Can the atty's ask the witnesses questions? Just curious -- or do they make a statement and that's it.

Thanks!

Melanie

There is a big difference in "paid" attorneys vs "court appointed" attorneys...

I'm still amazed JM didn't put much more people on in defense of TA's character, that was pretty shocking to myself. Much different than most cases that have family, etc on the stand.

In many states, those kinds of remarks are not allowed during the guilt phase of the trial; it is in the penalty phase when we hear that testimony. I assume AZ is the same.

We should see some of that in the aggravation/penalty phase -- impact statements & such; family members talking about what he would do for them at Christmas or T-giving, etc.; friends & co-workers saying what he has done for them & for PPL and its leaders and its beginners. It should be very emotional.

How will JA handle it (AS IF we care?)? Will she smirk or do the fake nose-drip dance again?

Yeah, Judge Larry cried in court. He is odd.

You're so kind. I always expect him to tell us that if we don't watch, Jimmy Two Times is gonna pay us a visit, if ya know what I mean.

Did anyone catch on Dr Drew where he called Donovan a "he" (there was a screen shot of her on the tv)??? LOL. Then I guess a producer told him in his earpiece that it's a SHE and then he was like, oh "'Donovan' that sounded like a guy's name", trying to explain himself.....LOL!!!!!!!!!

I saw that tonight and yelled at the TV....It's a SHE!!!!

Yes, in her warped mind, she must think she will re-unite with Travis.

But, if she was in fact going to die, she would. She still believes she has more places to visit before she dies I suppose.

I think maybe in Jodi's warped sense of reality she is saying she would rather die than live out a life sentence because she sees death as placing her where Travis is/with Travis!

Time to get the boys their treats and meds, take them out to potty and get some R&R, maybe even a few minutes sleep before court resumes. Night all.

I miss the "Chorus of Music" that used to happen on the electrics when the Typing Teacher had the whole class going F D S A J K L M . It was great. :floorlaugh:

Oh, and when us in the back row figured out how to send missiles by putting a projectile on a certain key and letting it rip. :floorlaugh:

Those were the days

You had electrics? Spoiled youngsters. LOL.

Yes. saw that. I was surprise he corrected himself and now you solved the mystery. YUP, it was the producer in his ear. He would not have figured it out on his own. :floorlaugh:

It's false info.

Juan explained Felony murder in his closing argument. It had to do with Jodi no longer being lawfully at his residence while committing a felony. Juan's logic -- since Travis was being stabbed repeatedly, Jodi was no longer an invited guest at his residence, but an intruder.

I agree. Just because 7 jurors voted for Felony Murder there is no reason for anyone to assume those 7 voted that way because they thought it was Travis' gun.

I so laughed out loud on that one? Hubby looks at me gone out!

Poor Dr. D - he tried to correct himself by saying "Donovan" sounds like a guys name -- not like she looks like a he.

I'm surprised he didn't blurt out "that's a girl". Sorry - not meant to offend, but I chuckled because IMHO Donovan does look like a guy to me.

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
