ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - The search for a 27-year-old Sand Point man reported missing in Anchorage entered its seventh day on Sunday, and family says they’ve still found no trace of him.

Robert Dushkin III was last seen early on the morning of Jan. 7 at a home on the 12000 block of Lucille Lane in South Anchorage. His family says he was visiting some friends there, and left the house on foot between the hours of 3 and 7 a.m. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

According to his sisters, Dushkin has been in Anchorage for several months living with a court-ordered third party custodian. Online court records indicate he is facing charges of assault, unlawful contact and tampering with evidence. He’s scheduled for a bail hearing at Nesbett Courthouse on Wednesday.
In a Thursday statement, Anchorage police said there is concern for Dushkin’s wellbeing “due to possible health issues.” Simons says her brother suffered from schizophrenia.

Dushkin is 6’1” and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and white Adidas shoes. He may also be wearing a baseball cap and a white/tan coat. His hair and beard are longer than they appear in his photo.

This family has been reaching out via Nextdoor to try and gather footage from home security cameras to see if there is a clue where he may have gone.

Does anyone know where he was heading when he left his house between those hours? Did he have a cell phone on him? Any tattoos or scars?

Her brother started hearing voices. Then he disappeared in Anchorage.
Two weeks before Dushkin went missing another sister took him to the emergency room at the Alaska Native Medical Center because he was hearing voices, she said.
He was given an anti-psychotic medication. He had an appointment with a psychiatrist scheduled for Jan. 16, Simons said. He went missing on Jan. 7.
When he went missing, he hadn't taken the medication for two nights because it made him tired.
"If he was upset — if the voices were saying, you're a bad person, you should lay down in a ditch and die — which is what he told my sister was happening when she took him to the E.R., we don't know what he would do," she said.
Leads have trickled in — a few people thought they saw him at a Huffman Tesoro station. They've checked homeless shelters. Nothing has turned out to be solid, though.
