It was initially reported that CM was outside when they were leaving so he may have observed who was and wasn’t in the vehicle. He saw an opportunity and took it. I do think he had been watching her for some time. I also believe he expected them to be gone longer. His crime was interrupted by their return. No time to hide evidence and no doubt knew it was game over when the K9s showed up.

The location of the kids is fuzzy based on everything I’ve seen so far. When CM was arrested, the girlfriend was also arrested that night. I suspect the kids were not there.

SMH. The poor girl was done wrong by all the adults in charge. Everyone knew about his hammer weilding, and bondage predelictions. Yet they left her alone with him there. If I remember the post on here correctly, it was something like disorderly conduct. She likely flipped out when they arrested him. Most reports I saw used girlfriend and a few reports used wife. I have no idea how long they’ve been together. The length of a relationship sometimes determines if you're considered a common law wife in the divorce/separation process. For example, one of my brothers has been with his girlfriend for over 30 years. If they ever split, it’s essentially a divorce in the courts.

Just seeing how the killer has handled this so far leads me to believe he will take it to trial and waste everyone’s time as well as taxpayer money. I would suspect he’s of the belief nothing is truly his fault and all sense of right/wrong doesn’t exist within him.

Then once on death row, he will use his full appeals and grind the criminal justice system until maybe one day society gets fortunate and they strap him down.

Poor Amberly, so many of the adults around her failed her in the worst possible ways. She is the only victim here. Cannot imagine the horror she went through. Heart breaks over and again each time I think about it.

I think one of the reasons why I feel so strongly about this one and wish lethal injection on this waste of space and some of the adults who I feel indirectly let this happen is because I have a son Amberly’s age and daughter a few years younger.

Whenever I read WS, I try to be impartial and stick to factual arguments but I just can’t in this one.

Several articles referred to Amberly living with her aunt since summer of 2018. Had her mother been living there too or had she recently moved out? Maybe this creep had been watching her for a long time.

There was a fire at the mother’s home in June 2018. At which point kids and the mother moved in with the Aunt. I believe it was at some point in the fall that the mom May have moved out of state for a job and or love interest. I don’t have an msm link and it’s moo

I have seen anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.
But remember, just because the aunt noticed she was missing when they returned doesn't mean that she wasn't still in the trailer next door at that point. I don't think that trailer was searched the first day, or the blood would have been spotted. So he could have removed her later that night after the search was suspended. We don't know when he actually took her out to the woods, nor do we know the actual time of death.

This is a difficult case to discuss for sure, but I think it’s important we speak up for children who cannot speak for themselves. Thank you for doing that.

Thanks, I had hopes Amberly was going to her moms new place on the weekends. I don’t know where her mom worked, I was guessing she moved away for a job. Surely not a love interest.
