That photo of Dustin Kent, the one on page 20. That man makes me so sick just looking at him. They are all f'n sick, but he has always struck me as the most depraved. It's his face.. I know that doesn't say much about how I judge people but something about him is just way way off

The video has a lot of Chessie statements. Here's one thing she said.

"We've had deaths in our family that wasn't this bad, because we knew what happened to them."

"I'll never, ever, ever give up that little piece of hope that she's alive," said Chessie Wood."

MOO
There has been an ongoing campaign for a year and a half to destroy the life and future of AJ McCarron - who has nothing to do with Britt's disappearance or the horrendous crimes committed against the child victims.
There has been an "all out" Twitter campaign over the last several days to the Heisman voters in an attempt to destroy his chances of winning - just because he has an uncle who is a sick freak.
Slandering AJ and the University of Alabama has ZERO to do with finding Britt or justice for the victims.

The pictures were not sold. They were shared in an attempt to destroy a young man's career.

If the person who campaigned so furiously to destroy AJ had put some of that effort into finding Britt and/or seeking justice for the victims, we might have a hero.

Funny....now the tweeting psycho has protected all of the tweets. That proves that Brittney is not of importance to this tweeter. If she was then the tweets would be public and not hidden in attempt to keep the bashing of AJ going. SMH!

"Her uncle has committed suicide and supposedly he was the last one she was with and so we're worried about that," says Hanke. "I'm hoping to God and I really don't think he would hurt my baby," says Brittney's mother.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I`m going to throw that same question out to Chessie Wood, because you`re Brittany Wood`s mom. We were having audio problems. Chessie, what`s going on here?
WOOD: Well, I do not believe they have a relationship. He was married to my sister. And he was -- he was -- my son has even went to their house a lot.My sister was at that house with Donnie the Thursday night, that would be June 1st. So we don`t know if she even made it to Don`s. She was not actually seen with Donnie. The reason we`re searching that area is because her phone was pinged there.
Now if it had some relation -- something to do with my brother-in- law`s suicide, we don`t know. The Mobile Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff`s Department is taking care of that. We as a family and a community is just searching for Brittany.

"She was happy as she could be. She wasn't upset at all. She walked out of my yard carrying a blue bag and just i thought she was going to a friend's (house.) That was the last time I saw her," said Wood.

"I'll never, ever, ever give up that little piece of hope that she's alive," said Chessie Wood.

"I believe my daughter went to confront him about other victims and it backfired on her," Chessie Wood said. "She was a fireball and she found out some information that she couldn't handle.
"I believe Donnie killed my daughter over the sex crimes."

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...tney-Wood-pleads-SISTER-tell-body-buried.html
“No mother should lose their daughter, but it is even worse when there is no body. We just want to mourn. All I want is to be able to say goodbye to my daughter and to end the agony of not knowing', said Chessie.

“My daughter died because she was going to stand up and tell the truth', she said. 'My daughter died protecting people she cared about. I don't care what other people say she was doing the right thing.”

I bolded that one section. I still find everything Chessie says as strangely unaware of what was going on with her children. Derek's side of the story is very sad. If Chessie knew Donnie was a demon, I want to know why her children were allowed near him. Sorry, but I think she's full of it, MOO.

DEREK WOOD

FOX10 spoke to Derek Wood, who remains in the Baldwin County Jail. He said the sex abuse ring actually began years ago.

"This all started whenever I was probably about seven-years-old and it continued throughout the years and led up from Donnie teaching me things. And whenever I was younger I would go over to his house and he had got me to do something that I wasn't proud of," said Derek from jail.

Detectives said Derek Wood's case is a sad one - a victim himself, turned suspect.

As he works through the legal case , he said his sister's disappearance is first on his mind.

"It's been pretty hard, man. I really just would like to find my sister. I mean, the jail time is hard but it's just time," said Derek. "I'm just sitting around praying that my sister comes home or we could find something about her."

I'm sorry. Obviously, I misunderstood your post. This is a tender subject for me for many reasons.
Yes, Dustin is AJ's uncle. BUT, we need to remember, Britt is not AJ's cousin.

I just don't understand how AJ's uncle being a child rapist is news. It is good juicy gossip, yes, but not newsworthy.

I agree....it's not newsworthy. IMO it's is some unemployed, bored, lonely, and frigid person that has nothing better to do than try to ruin someone's life because theirs is so pathetic :twocents::twocents::twocents:

I'm by no means an Alabama fan, but I hope this doesn't negatively effect AJ's career prospects, reputation, etc. He did not commit these awful crimes. I'm sorry he and his mom are being tied to them in these media stories.

That said, I am slightly hopeful this extra coverage - controversial and unfair to AJ as it sadly is - will put some more pressure on LE and certain people and get us closer to finding BW.

My hubby has ESPN on all the time if he's home, unless he's sleeping, reading, or playing video games. And always has ESPN radio on in the car. If this goes national (more national/mainstream than say, The Daily Mail) and is over ESPN 24/7, I'll let y'all know.

Again, sad for AJ and his mom. And I feel bad that this negative story for innocent AJ is exploding, but I hope at least something good can come out of it - finding Brit!

OMG, those birds!
Welcome to all the new posters!
Percyfaith- I wondered too about Butch's behaviour at that time, very, very strange! And I think you are right, Brittney knew of other victims.

(Take heart Seeing, the Daily Fail has a delightful story about a group of Australian child abusers in today's edition, apparently most of the children have some birth defects due to relatives breeding with relatives, who had been bred from the same. One nine year old didn't know what toilet paper was etc, ah, they were living in tents and vans...)
Tomorrow it will be somewhere else's turn.

Zwei- I wonder if money has been paid for that story?

About the footballer- what a bummer to have such and uncle and aunt, luckily for him he wasn't a victim of their perversions, surely this wouldn't affect his career in the long term? (Although I know it would be very tough in the short term to cope with) Maybe it will bring some much needed attention to Brittney though, and I'm sure it would put some pressure on the disgusting Dustin, which is good.

"Those other birds are fake! Trust me, I'm real, and I'm genuinely angry."

...............................................................................

I feel like I have an angry bird hanging over my head. :floorlaugh:

I don't know much about football or the process of winning a Heisman trophy. I read this sports article that looked at the six finalists that were named Monday to attend the Heisman Trophy presentation. There's a voting box on that page. AJ is coming in second so far. Sounds like a lot of hard work, and he's earned some honor in his own name.

Omg! I was hoping to find something positive in Britt's case....not dailymail article on DK and AJ connection. I had previously posted about how U of A was working to keep this quiet. No one in Alabama has heard anything about this except those around Mobile. AJ and his mom can't help the fact that they have a sick perverted monster for a relative. I hope Bama PR can do some damage control now that the cat is out of the bag. Some scum waited until AJ received Heisman nomination to reveal this information and sabbatoge AJ.

ROLL TIDE!!!

Time to calm down before bedtime. Forget those angry birds. Thinking soothing thoughts, soothing thoughts, soothing thoughts, . . .

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Good Night.

I really hope that his reputation will not be tarnished because of this. He's a young man at the height of his success and does not deserve to face unjustified repercussions for the actions of his scummy extended family. I hope that the family hires private PR or seeks any PR professionals available through the university so that they can speak out and do some effective damage control. There's been enough victims of these depraved people already. Though I do question whether it was best to keep hush-hush about this until after the ticking time bomb went off; proactive measures to save face (and to help find Brittney! - whether she was technically a cousin or not) might have been better.

Yet, as uncomfortable as it makes me feel, a small part of me is glad that the connection has finally been reported in the media. I've thought a lot about how I would feel about the media eventually running with this eye-catching headline. A huge part of me really sympathizes with AJ, his mother, and all of the other innocent family members who could be (and now have been) pulled through the mud due to the actions of another family member. However, another part of me recognizes how this high-profile connection could help bring us answers about Brittney by increasing media coverage, public awareness, and possibly various financial or political pressures for a resolution. There's also the possibility of these factors facilitating the discovery of additional victims of the sex crimes, particularly any victims that are outside the family or even outside of the two county area. There's the possibility that these types of victims exist and they deserve to receive justice and the treatment they undoubtedly need.

I guess I'm just anxious to see how this big reveal plays out for all those affected by these disturbing people. I really hope that enough good can come out of it to at least partially justify any harm caused to AJ and his family.

Very well said. I hope so, too. So far, after only a few hours, it seems buried in the Heisman excitement & the TX/AL coach stories so if this timing is intentional, it may turn out to be the perfect timing for AJ.

I hope you are right Kate. This is sad that this comes out at AJ's highest moment.

Well, the 'exclusive' tag and the fact the article mentions CW refused to speak to them without a lawyer, then changed her mind, makes me think she was.

It's just normal for newspapers in England to pay for and run stories about famous sports people's relatives - cocaine dealing to shoplifting etc. Then the sportsperson's PR makes a statement, the manager of the team shouts at journalists during a press conference, and finally the whole story dies down because a much, much bigger one comes along......a famous sportsman's girlfriend is pictured in a bikini, and she looks fat. Or too thin. That's newsworthy too.

We may should move to the football forum, because now I wonder...does every Heisman nominee have a gorgeous beauty gf? 2. They still have to play their bowl games after this crazy hyped up week for the trophy? 3. Is the timing more about this week or was it waiting til after the Iron Bowl? :) And did you see Mr. Hamster favorited the DM tweet on this story?

I wondered if the same person feeding Daily Mail who would go there may have when FOX10 would not after getting those letters about Brittney writing a letter.
