Thank you! I think that context is particularly relevant when a soldier spirals into drug abuse. In my mind, that actually reduces the probability that he is responsible for Danni's disappearance - unless he was attracted to the military because of the violence, but then presumably he wouldn't have PTSD.
The insertion of the military service information into the narrative by JDT 3 months into this missing case is curious to say the least IMO as we have been looking for basic information about TT since the beginning of this missing case and have received next to nothing of value. I don't believe we can safely make any assumptions about the PTSD impact on TT or its connection to violence seen in Iraq etc.

We do know from arrest records that TT was violent (believed toward DNV on at least 2 occassions and other person at least once) while living in the US and is a habitual drug user with a highly uncertain work history and a documented dishonorable discharge from the army.

Whether TT suffers from PTSD or any other emotional disorders and whether this "reduces the probability that his is responsible for Danni's disappearance" I think is a highly speculative statement that I'm not even sure a medical doctor that specializes in PTSD could make in all honesty. PTSD research is an evolving area and while we know more about the topic today than we did when Vietnam soldiers returned to the US there is still alot we don't know. My guess is that the diagnosis is being used in the context of whatever litigation is present in the military court to avoid being sent to prison and argue for rehab or some kind of other release program option. The fact I believe is that TT has at least 5 drug related convictions and this by law should put him in prison in AL. The connection of his cases to the military court system is something I don't understand as looking at some of the case dates it appeared he was a civilian and not in the military so will have to defer to @Alethea to explain.

We have asked for basic TT/DNV location information along with dates from the beginning of this case and have received NOTHING in the way of confirmation and VI told us yesterday she has no information on this topic at all. How difficult is it to look at a calendar and figure out when someone left KS, arrived in NC (or didn't) and then moved to Mobile? Not that hard IMO and it is relevant information to the case.

Man arrested after search linked to Vian case expected in court

This article reporting on JD’s arraignment says this:
“Last week police searched a property near Wigfield Road and Travis Road. Last Thursday Mobile Police had information that led them to believe the property was linked to the Danniella Vian investigation. That was based on information from the victim in this case. Apparently, the search turned up no connection to the missing mom.”

Hmm. This case is an enigma. The reporter does say “apparently” there was no connection to the property and DNV, which tells me that is the reporter’s assumption and wasn’t verified info through LE. A reporter’s assumption means nothing in this case full of people’s assumptions. Give me a fact.
I don't believe the reporter quote in this particular article is correct. I suggest going back in this thread as we went back to LE statements made at the scene and put them all into the thread. There were 2 different detectives that spoke to the press at the scene. The issue is that LE DOES BELIEVE there is a connection between the JCD/TT uncle property and DNV. We do not know what the connection is because LE has never explained it.

So the family accused his victim of adding false info about DNV to her own story out of “spite”? That speaks volumes about the family to me and is actually very concerning. Do you have a link to that? Does it state what family members made this claim against his victim?
This statement was made by JDT.

Yes, JDT quote to media and via FB group on the day of the arrest and after the search was that it was all "100% unrelated". Whether this is true remains to be seen but at the time and as of today I find it highly doubtful that this statement is correct.

Maybe he was on a cocaine binge. I have no idea what it costs for 3.5 weeks of cocaine, but I have heard that it's a drug for professionals, expensive. Anyone know what it costs for nearly a month of cocaine for a daily user?
My guess is that it might have been meth given that its alot cheaper vs cocaine along the level of truly abnornal behavior that was discussed in the arrest warrant and the GF's testimony which might be consistent with other cases we have seen where meth is involved.

Here is some price data for drugs by state:

I ask because I'm curious whether something happened a month before he kidnapped his girlfriend that trigger this level of violence, whether this was the first time he did this to her (held her against her will).

Are you suggesting that JCD was somehow involved with DNV and possibly the father of her most recent child?

Oh yes.. they totally got called out for victim shaming on Facebook.

There's another connection now. A month after Danni and her car vanished, TT's cousin kidnapped his own girlfriend and kept her captive for 25 days. Two other men were on the property and they were both released? I suppose that means that they did not live on the property, because if they did they should have noticed something.
JCD doesnt own that property and there is at least 1 other person (his dad, GD) living there.

Eta: I think @cedgison could confirm that easily?

Thanks! I want to try to get more info on them and also dig deeper into Pearl Motors as it might help to better understand who might have known about the car and its GPS and DNV picking up the car that day. I wish we had a VIN number to work with but we don't. I keep searching the car impound lists and her car hasn't shown up.
VIN

Per JDT.

And as in the case with this family all the post on JD’s FB account during the time he was imprisoning his gf are gone. So someone has commanderied his account. I would not think he would have access from jail. And I saw the post yesterday, not a month ago, not a week ago. Just yesterday. So in one day they are gone or the account was switched to private. I went back on just to confirm some thoughts I had yesterday. I wanted to get the dates straight on the imprisonment to see if he seemed deranged in his postings. From memeory, it was just yesterday, there were some about working things out and loving and missing his gf. Nothing that stood out as exceptionally crazy. But definitely a “all is well in paradise” tone.
