The insertion of the military service information into the narrative by JDT 3 months into this missing case is curious to say the least IMO as we have been looking for basic information about TT since the beginning of this missing case and have received next to nothing of value. I don't believe we can safely make any assumptions about the PTSD impact on TT or its connection to violence seen in Iraq etc.Thank you! I think that context is particularly relevant when a soldier spirals into drug abuse. In my mind, that actually reduces the probability that he is responsible for Danni's disappearance - unless he was attracted to the military because of the violence, but then presumably he wouldn't have PTSD.
We do know from arrest records that TT was violent (believed toward DNV on at least 2 occassions and other person at least once) while living in the US and is a habitual drug user with a highly uncertain work history and a documented dishonorable discharge from the army.
Whether TT suffers from PTSD or any other emotional disorders and whether this "reduces the probability that his is responsible for Danni's disappearance" I think is a highly speculative statement that I'm not even sure a medical doctor that specializes in PTSD could make in all honesty. PTSD research is an evolving area and while we know more about the topic today than we did when Vietnam soldiers returned to the US there is still alot we don't know. My guess is that the diagnosis is being used in the context of whatever litigation is present in the military court to avoid being sent to prison and argue for rehab or some kind of other release program option. The fact I believe is that TT has at least 5 drug related convictions and this by law should put him in prison in AL. The connection of his cases to the military court system is something I don't understand as looking at some of the case dates it appeared he was a civilian and not in the military so will have to defer to @Alethea to explain.
We have asked for basic TT/DNV location information along with dates from the beginning of this case and have received NOTHING in the way of confirmation and VI told us yesterday she has no information on this topic at all. How difficult is it to look at a calendar and figure out when someone left KS, arrived in NC (or didn't) and then moved to Mobile? Not that hard IMO and it is relevant information to the case.
