Lisa is my aunt. And she had other Facebook pages to keep tabs on her ex husband. He has been cleared. The district attorney said they had a poi then she revoked that. Nothing new has emerged. We think someone came in killed her, set the house on fire, and took her elsewhere. We got a signal from HER phone 3.5 miles away from the house but the police won't go after it.
 
As a family member of Lisa's and Michael's I can tell you this, Michael is a good liar. And his stories have changed 4 times. Two of those were right in front of me. So any changing story isn't a misreport. He changed his story whilst speaking with them.
 
I'm going to set the record straight for everyone. The house that burnt down was on property that belonged to her ex brother in law. Her and my uncle, even though divorced, were very close because he helped her. He's just a genuinely good person. 2 of her sons lived with her. We had several things set up for her medical to be covered without putting a strain on anyone else. One dog lived, Michael's. Almost everything of his survived. He has changed his story many times. Nobody needs to know the address of the house on here. It is gone and it is under lockdown until further notice. She is my aunt. She has COPD and emphezema. She is very sick. Only one person talks of her in past tense and that's Michael. <modsnip>
 
Epmiller, I sure am sorry that your aunt is missing and such a stressful situation has happened to your family. Thank you for sharing information with us. I hope she is found and justice served.
 
I got red flags about the son from the beginning. I never bought the 20 minute thing. Above confirms my suspicions.
epmiller, please accept our heart felt sympathies and don't give up looking for your Aunt.
 
EP, can you tell us if LE (law enforcement) has questioned anyone on more than one occasion or named a POI?
Was there any motive that you can think of?
 
Well heartgoesout, they never named a specific one because they didn't have time to. The night of the fire when we were all out there waiting to hear something and the fire to be put out, Michael walked up out of nowhere, no vehicle no nothing. A neighbor ( there are very few residents on the road) said he spotted a white truck come and go after about 15 minutes around 2:30. Michael doesn't have a car but he has plenty of buddies that do. Michael has been scheduled to take several lie detector tests but postponed them each time. He once said " he smoked weed " but he has never done that in the past. Only 10 days after she went missing he was already speaking in past tense. He did pull a knife on his brother during a verbal argument the night of.
 
LE won't give us much of anything. During all this he has court dates for trespassing and neglecting a restraining order placed by his ex wife for domestic violence. He also stole a credit card and spent $5000 on it
 
Don't give up EP! It will be a long road but you sound like a strong person. Keep the pressure on LE. I see it over and over on here, the cases that have the most success with justice are the ones were the family says we're not taking this lying down.
 
I read on Michael's FaceBook page that he changed his name. What is that all about?
 
epmiller,you mention you received a signal from Lisa's phone 3.5 miles away. Did anyone from the family go and search that area?

I hope you don't mind us asking you questions. This has been a puzzling case since the beginning.
 
I do not mind at all. I want everyone here to know what's really going on. Little we have conducted 3 searches of our own and went out that far but found nothing. We are wondering if maybe we didn't cover enough ground or what. LE would NOT go after it. We tried and tried right after it happened but I'm afraid if we found it now it would not be in any shape to retrieve data from. We have had some crazy weather here including snow and excessive rain since she went missing. also the self entitled person "in charge" of these searches was Michael.
 
EP, reach out to any local SARS (search and rescue) teams. Many are volunteer. In my area there is one called Wolfpack Search and Recovery. Look them up on Facebook and reach out to them. They should be able to give you some pointers or even connect you with someone in your area. Go back to the police, tell them everything. Go back every day. If they don't help you call your state representative. Your only POI is dictating search areas and that is a problem. Do not be intimidated. Your POI may think he is smarter than everyone but that is never the case. Also be careful not to believe too much of what he says happened, it is probably a lie.
 
EP, heartgoesout, is exactly right! Find a SAR group in your area. I'm sure they could help you.

I can't believe how LE has been treating you. Maybe they DO know about Michael and are just waiting for him to make a move. Did LE check Michael's phone to see just where he was at on that day Lisa came up missing?
 
Heart I very much appreciate that. And little, here's the fun part Michael "lost" THAT phone that they texted on before anyone saw the message that Lisa supposedly sent. Later that same phone was "crushed by a tire" so it's gone.

Wow. I'm so sorry. What the heck is his motive? And what's the deal with LE-is it a funding issue or does Michael know someone in LE or what?
 
Hejlena he has cut her oxygen line in half before with a knife. It could just be he got angry. He pulled a knife on my cousin because he told him he should have been there. And threatened to slit another's for asking him not to smoke around my uncle who was quitting. He's crazy

Gosh I'm so sorry. I used to have an uncle like that. Scary guy. I hope for justice for your family, whatever that may look like.
