I'm assuming he was under disability (please all note that I said "assume") because he was a chronic pain patient. Most that are, are also on disability. I don't know much if at all about policies so I can't comment on that. But, with I'm guessing his wife is supporting herself fine and well with probable govt aide, whatever was paid out (if anything) for his passing - and if she's also on disability and selling her medication, - she's not hurting too bad. I don't think they lived above their means, from photos and things said. Again just my assumption. With his allegations before passing make me wonder how much in the system he was still being given, or if he was cut off (Don't know how that works). But either way, has anyone thought to flood other crime websites/blogs about BW? Just maybe to get the word out again because as I looked around, she's falling to the bottom of posts with abandon.

Another thing is maybe posting an add on Craigslist, Backpage and any other website a lot of people look at for free furniture to jobs. I don't 'know where we'd post these ads on those sites but it would be of some use. I can donate 20.00 towards add / flyer posting. Can we post things in post offices or is that a thing of the past?

Another idea: maybe posting a "reward" for lost tote bag (or whatever else she had on her when she left) going with the possibility that she's deceased and her belongings stolen. maybe someone has her items and kept it? they could have went through her things and dumped her phone sim card at the truck stop? Not sure how pings work with prepaid. I'm sincere on donating towards her recovering, and a website called Wepay.com could accept donations ( I hate paypal) but I'm not sure how that works either. I think a fund should be set up for her daughter for college and a new start at an appropriate age.

I think that was my theory... I don't know of any confirmed sources (unless I am forgetting) that stated that as fact.
 
IIRC DH was working in North Dakota at the end of 2011 according to WWH's fb posts of missing him so much. (eww..just spewed in my mouth a little bit)
Maybe he was "hurt" on that job or was doing underthetable work there while collecting a disability check in AL.

The facebook page for Fox 10 News in Mobile says the state prosecutor say the 3 men, are accused of having sex with a girl in Fairhope when she was aound 12 years old. I know I'm supposed to give y'all a link but I don't think I'm supposed to link facebook. Let me know what I should do. Thanks!

Inside Judge Jody Bishop's courtroom on Thursday morning, three men waited to hear evidence against them.

All three men are connected to Wood, who vanished in May.


Family friend William Brownlee , Wood's cousin Donald Holland, Jr., and her brother Derek Wood all face charges for sex crimes.

State prosecutors said the three men had a sexual relationship with an underage Fairhope girl.

Hi all. I come in and out of the BW threads because I'm local and try to stay updated. This is somewhat OT, but not really. Here is a local mag which, interestingly enough, just did a story of the clusters of RSAs in our area. I'm sure this is similar to any city across the nation, but it was very interesting to read. While it is Mobile County they are referring to, and not Baldwin County, it still is a good read.

The judge set bond for Derek Wood as well at $20,000. If they make bond, both men would be required to wear an ankle monitor.

I keep refreshing this newest article on Fox to see the comments (we know the crap show that appears in these comments - which is more telling than anything else). I'm also looking to see if any other major sites posted this yet. So far no dice. This info though is VERY telling and sorta gives us some idea what might have went on, which is friggin' sick!

Do you (or anyone else) recall if it was in fact North Dakota or was he working in a different state? For some reason I had Indiana or Illinois in my head.

I'm having a brain lapse and sifting through hundreds of screen shots that I have it isn't my idea of a fun evening... (ok, fine... I'm feeling lazy & hoping someone else remembers or has it easily available.)

You can still see that DHJR was in ND at that time (oct-nov '11) on his PNH fb. I don't recall if anyone was with him and don't see him mention anyone with him either on a quick look now.

After a longer look, looks like both DH & DHJR were there.

When Holland took the stand, a Sheriff's investigator gave explicit details.

The girl told deputies that in January 2011, Holland touched her inappropriately and had sex with her. She was 12 years old at the time of the alleged incident.

Prosecutors said the other two co-defendants had sex with her as well.

At the very end of article - in the left side column is one lone sentence, (I almost missed it) - it states that there are two more men facing charges.

Who else could it be, family or friends of family?

I originally thought they were referring to Uncle Donnie and Uncle Scott. But it says "two other men face charges"

Obviously Uncle Donnie is not facing charges. So, RSW and who? Did I miss someone?
