Obviously from a Republican blog, rather than from an accredited news agency. We would all think Republican sympathizers could do a little better. Must be a "do anything" in order to regain a little credibility.
I laugh but I am too busy    !
How about MSN? Mr. Whittington said what he said, and the LLL keeps stooping lower and lower, trying to fan flames that got put out today!
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11407623/
In his statement, Whittington said the past weekend had encompassed friends and family in “a cloud of misfortune and sadness.”
“My family and I are deeply sorry for everything Vice President Cheney and his family have had to deal with,” he said.

Whittington finished by praising his doctors. “They are truly remarkable servants of God and I’m extremely blessed for all they’ve done.”
*********************************************************

The LLL tried to get their "pound of flesh" from this tragedy instead of showing the caring and compassion they try to convince everyone they possess.

Anyone know how to play the bugle? It's long past time for "Taps" as this story is done.:blowkiss:

What's up with the dude walking out of the hospital in a suit and tie?   Someone needs to tell him that if he gets shot in the face, he's allowed to wear a freaking sweat suit home or something. GEE WHIZ
helloooooooooooooo!!

fabulous...............jeana

All I can say is that those raw spots around his neck look like they hurt. He is much more gracious than I would be.

Well, frankly I was impressed with how he praised the doctors. Doctors and nurses are usually working really hard behind the scenes when accidents occur, whether it be the mining victims, the reporters (Bob Woodruff) badly injured, our injured soldiers and so on - sometimes their survival is amazing and it wouldn't be possible without our medical workers.

(also, lawyers and doctors don't always like each other so much)

Oh sorry Tom'sGirl, I should have checked more closely :blowkiss:
I find it very amusing myself but then again I am probably warped but don't realize it :o

eta - the bumper sticker I find amusing, not necessarily the tragic death of the young woman. Nothing funny there

Oh heck indi, you would have missed it anyway as I couldn't get it to post like you did.

NO, definately not funny about poor Mary Jo. To this day I can't stomach him and his pompus attitude

I think I should quit reading this thread, see ya on another one gal :blowkiss:

Well, I think it's Cheney who should be saying "I'm deeply sorry for all the trouble Harry and his family have gone through", rather than the other way around.

I mean, if someone accidently shot you and you had to spend a week in the hospital, and your face was black and blue and pock-marked, would you say, "Oh, I'm just so deeply sorry for the trouble Bubba and his family are going through..."

Wow, nice guy Harry, but gee, really???

I am sure that Cheney has apologized repeatedly.

I saw Mr. Whittington today and he looks just remarkable for someone who supposedly was dying.

Well, now that the LLL will have to find a new carcass to knaw at, I'm just going to go sit back by the mailbox and wait for the DNP to send me my check for my portion of the "renting" of the Lincoln bedrooms.:innocent:

Of course, I won't hold my breath, though it was partially MY house they were renting out to up their coffers....:furious:

I think "they" wanted the poor man to die to further their agenda!

"they"=Bush/Cheney haters

I thought it was time for 'taps' on this story too, but Chris Matthews sure sisn't. Today his whole show revolved around it.

Of course they pointed out all the things we have discussed here. But one thing I hadn't thought about is evidently Cheney was shooting down towards the little ravine Harry was in. I guess shooting downhill is a no no when you're bird hunting!

I am one of "they"--- but I dont appreciate being put into your thoughts of me wanting the gentleman to die, nor do I think that has been insinuated anywhere on the LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG thread-

Harry was standing in a ditch, or a depression, otherwise he would have gotten hit lower on his body. He came out lucky; a pellet could have blinded him, as it appears that a few pellets barely missed his right eye.

I don't think anything even remotely close to that has been insinuated by anyone of the "theys" in this thread.
