Have Kate Middleton and Prince William gone away on a babymoon?

According to The Sun , the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have taken a vacation (with Prince George!) to Balmoral Palace this week and are relaxing before the arrival of their second child early next year .

The family of three took a flight from Heathrow Airport on Tuesday into Aberdeen, the airport closest to the Scotland estate.

And while Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip are currently not in town, a full staff is on hand to cater to William, Kate and little George's every want and need...

I did a little research and I'm 750,003 in line for the throne. So there's that.

Prince George will be a big brother sooner than later!

Kate Middleton revealed that she is expecting her second child to arrive by the "mid-to-end" of April.

The Duchess of Cambridge broke the news to volunteers at Brookhill Children's Centre in Woolwich, where she attended a coffee breakfast before watching a training session and visiting an on-site nursery. "I told her she is beautiful and that she's got a tiny little bump," volunteer Christie Osborne, 49, told reporters following Middleton's visit. "I asked when her baby is due and she said mid-to-end of April."

While Middleton revealed her due date, she did not reveal the sex of her second child...

Local TV news channel (WDIV, Detroit) reporting that Kate is in labor and at the hospital.

Here's to a safe delivery.

The only reason why I hate the whole royalty thing; Is because many people had to die in order for people to keep their titles. Queen Elizabeth is the blood neice of King Henry via his sister. But it took many deaths via Henry and Mary to keep the Matriarch alive for all of these years. I am just glad that nowadays the titles are just more for show since the country is actually governed and all people who holds a title only live off a stipend check too keep up appearances.

Imo. It's similar to being the president. The only differnce is there is no votes. Your bloodline reigns superior forever in that country. And it sucks to me. Jmo

My apologies for posting the above information without verification. Apparently WDIV (Channel 4, Detroit), local NBC affiliate, ran with story and video from yesterday's morning Today show indicating that Kate could give birth at any moment. I watched the report (from London) that focused on the current hype surrounding the impending royal birth - crowds gathering, road blockades near the hospital, souvenir vendors, etc. WDIV report on 6:00 evening news made it sound as if the birth was imminent. :gaah: Sorry.

ETA: Here's the video from the Today show excerpted in WDIV report.

Kate Middleton Labor: Increased Security Outside Lindo Wing Hints Duchess May Be In Labor

By Sneha Shankar @SnehaShankar30 on April 28 2015 8:28 AM EDT

Police officials and sniffer dogs were found outside St. Mary’s hospital in London on Tuesday morning, heightening speculation that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, may be in labor. Middleton is almost a week late for her delivery, which was expected to take place Thursday.

People who had gathered outside the hospital premises saw heavy deployment of police officers, and said that some of them were also going inside the hospital's Lindo Wing through the side door early Tuesday, the Mirror reported. Middleton will give birth at the Lindo Wing, the same location where she had her first child, Prince George, on July 22, 2013.

A photographer close to Middleton’s personal assistant Natasha Archer had also reached outside the hospital shortly after security was beefed up, according to the Mirror...

Palace appeals to media to shun Prince George paparazzi pics

By DANICA KIRKA, AP

LONDON (AP) — Royal officials on Friday urged media organizations not to publish unauthorized images of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, arguing that paparazzi are using increasingly dangerous tactics to get the valuable images.

Kensington Palace, the official home of Prince William and his wife Kate, published a letter sent to media standards organizations, detailing recent incursions on the family's privacy. It said photographers have hidden in car trunks, obscured themselves in sand dunes, monitored the movement of Prince George and his nanny around London parks and used other children to draw Prince George into view on playgrounds.

The palace says the increasing incursions present a risk "in a heightened security environment," and that a line has been crossed...
