Thanks Marley, I didn't remember that he was arrested at the shops & then taken to hospital by ambo.

TGY...Toowong Towers was where he'd re-located his mini office to. He was at that office when arrested & taken, by detectives, firstly to Indooroopilly station's Major Incident Room then on to Brisbane watchhouse where he was formally charged with murder.

The ambulance trip was when he crashed the car at Indooroopilly shopping centre on the weekend following Allison's disappearance.

April 24, 2012

Mr Baden-Clay is recovering from a car accident which occurred just two days after his wife was reported missing.

He was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital after crashing his car outside Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, in Brisbane’s west on Sunday afternoon

Sure do recall it...

June 13, 2012

At 3pm, Mr Baden-Clay was arrested at the Toowong Towers car park. Police allege the scratches on Mr Baden-Clay's face have scarred and have been "partially obscured by beard growth".

He is charged with murder and interfering with a corpse.

June 14, 2012

A government medical officer advises police a shaving cut is "usually a epidermal nick and is not likely to scar given that they don't break the dermis. A non-intimate forensic order is requested to shave the relevant part of Mr Baden-Clay's face, examine and take photograph of the injuries".

That black and white photo always make me think of the old bushranger photos. I have no idea why!!! :floorlaugh:

I see it, Strangeworld!! Maybe it's that hunted look he's got....

You know, if you spend time really looking at that photo I think you get a glimpse of who GBC is.

Firstly I saw a masked look, but beneath that is a chilling hardness. I may be reading too much into it, but I think that photo is pretty telling about the person beneath the real estate salesman veneer......The façade is thin there - and he's icy. JMO.

Not reading too much into it Isisrising. I see it too. Quite clearly. The chilling hardness. Plus calculating. Continually calculating.
On the bushranger thoughts, I just have to break into song .....
"Ned Kelly was a gentleman compared to the likes of some."

That must be what it is Isis - that hardness. That is one of the moments when his world came crashing down.

The solicitor

GERARD Baden-Clay's lawyer Darren Mahony holds up Ned Kelly as a symbol of what he stands for.

In the offices of Jacobson Mahony, the Gold Coast criminal law firm in which Toowoomba-born Mr Mahony partners fellow 40-something lawyer Jason Jacobson, paintings of the legendary bushranger by artist Sidney Nolan line the walls.

Uggh....now that is alarming reading regarding the lawyer.

"Mr Mahony has specialised in baby-shaking cases." I assume that means he's got the alleged perpetrators off.

Ethics, ethics, ethics......:scared:

In his statement, one of GBC's colleagues mentions GBC mentioning baby shaking. :twocents:

Thanks Ali. So does the extent of premeditation planning influence the length of sentencing?

No it doesn't because there is mandatory life imprisonment for murder. It is now 20 yrs but at the time of Allison's death it was 15 yrs. So if he is convicted of murder he will get 15 yrs. If he is also convicted of interference with a corpse, whatever term he gets, it would likely be served concurrently with the 15 yrs which still means a total of 15 yrs as the murder sentence would be the longer one. I don't understand concurrent sentences, it's like 2 crimes for the term of the greater one.

PB (C21): The only time he made a weird statement to me about cheating on A was when I was in the office with possibly B. I asked him how he got into this situation and he said something like its a lot like being a baby shaker you don't think you are a baby shaker until you are caught shaking a a baby.

Michael Bosscher is representing Trung Ma (see link above). Didn't he go bankrupt at some stage?

Is it just me, or is that a really weird analogy?
