Amateur Astrology, what's ahead for the USA

Hi housemouse...could you (to me the newbie) explain the cardinal crosses that are coming up in the summer and what they mean? TIA

((aside...my husband has been in the army going on 18 years now...and I do not know if that has something to do with it or not...but yesterday I had a real sense of foreboding in terms of National security.... do those crosses moving into place have anything to do with those types of feelings??? again tia and sorry for such a stupid question!))

I will do my best, nurse, but let me go to my desktop and write it up. I will post it later. Off the top of my head, however, I am very worried about three possibilities.

I just found a fascinating analysis of the USA chart, written by an astrologer from Serbia. It is too long to post, but it is definitely worth reading. Keep in mind that he wrote part of his analysis way back in 1997!!!! Particularly notice the "highlighted" yellow text.

What you all can do, when reading the article, is challenge in your mind, the choices he makes when picking "keywords". Try to think of other "keywords" that might fit, and it doesn't matter if you are right or wrong. The idea is to help you understand that astrology is more like a language, and people pick words that suit their prejudices, political opinions, and life experiences.

But, he is an example of someone who uses good methods in analyzing a chart. So, use his approach, and try out your own keywords. Here is a link to the keywords commonly used in mundane astrology. Print them out and keep them as a reference.

I will post the "Grand Cross" pattern that forms in the summer of 2010, but keep in mind that this time period is just the middle of a long lasting set of aspect patterns. Maybe print it out, and have it handy when I finish writing up my amateur analysis.

I truly hope some of our other astrologers will chime in, and add their interpretations and ideas. None of us are perfect, and we are stronger when we question each other, and add alternative ideas. I will also use one of the various charts for the USA, called the Sibley chart, to write up my ideas of what kind of bad weather we should be looking for.

And, remember, God is in charge, not we humans. And no astrologer knows the mind of God.

AH! You need me to re-post the "legend". Will do so, and then you can print it out, so you can use it to make up your own interpretations.

After awhile, you will know these glyphs by heart from just looking at the charts. Don't bother trying to memorize them, as studying will eventually put them in your memory. That is how I learned them.

OK, here is the USA Sibley chart. Please know that astrologers have been known to come to blows over which is the right date and time for the USA chart.

This one worked very well for the WTC attack, however. Go to one of the free chart sites and see for yourself. Consider it a "homework assignment", and report back what aspect pattern you see across the USA ascendant/descendant axis!

P.S. if you want me to post the WTC attack chart, I will do so. But will give you a chance to try on your own first.

I didn't either, butterfly, but I had hoped that he would rise to meet the challenges of the office, once he was briefed on what we face as a country.

But, his Mars on the USA Neptune is not playing out the way people hoped. He energized (Mars) our silly illusions/dreams (Neptune). Kind of a Pied Piper, leading the country over a cliff.

Consider that the USA Mars is square the USA Neptune. His Mars activates that square, unfortunately.

Don't hesitate, butterfly. Trying to put words to it all is the best way to learn, and you do not have to worry about being right. None of us are right all the time. We hope to be right some of the time, and we must remember that God is the only one who truly knows.

Do your reasonable best. I am really interested to see your take on things. You might inspire others to give it a try. And, that is a good thing, for properly followed, astrology leads us all to Him.

Okay, I have no clue how to post the chart, I tried to down load it but it wouldn't let me. I went to a site called Astrolabe and used the name as Attack, the date September 11, 2001 at 8:45 am the time the first plane struck the tower. I used a birth chart I didn't think it would really show anything because it was an event but, I'll be dang if it didn't.
I have not finished yet but I wanted to see before I went to far if I am on the right track, I tell you what it made me sick, to see it . This is what I got so far.

The sun is in the 11th house Virgo, the sun represents persons of athority, PUBLIC HEROS and National Champions, the 11th house represents parliments, towns and similar bodies also Legislation and friends of nations....
My interpretaion of this of course being after the fact is, that the nations everwhere were pulling for us, and the heros well those were the firefighters police officers and everyone who helped.

The moon is in the 8th house in Gemini, the moon represents public attention and since it is in the 8th house which represents public morality, death rate, death duties also finacial matters and foreign relations, that one speaks for itself. The attack happened at the world trade center which was the finacial center, so it speaks for itself.

Mercury is in the 12th house Libra. Mercury represent communication and travel the 12th house is criminals, spies posssable secret societies and Occult religions... OMG, that is what made me SICK!!!

Mars is in the 3rd house Capricorn. Mars is military, soldiers as well as Terrorist attack, and opposition forcesthe third house signifies transportation...
Which is exactly what happened there was a terrorist attack opposition forces against our transportation.
I was so sick when I started putting this together, I have not gone any further because I had a few questions and I wanted to make sure I was doing it right... does the degrees matter at all, or just which house it falls in?

First off, butterfly, good work at looking for the clues to the WTC attack. You noticed things I didn't!

I save charts from my software to my desktop, then load them onto photobucket to post them here. Some day, when I have some time, I ought to organize them into file folders! (I am not the best at organizing!)

Here is a "bi-wheel" chart showing the USA chart in the center, with it's ASC and MH, and the position of the planets on the day/time of the attack in the outer ring. Astrologers will be discussing and analyzing these aspects forever, and squabbling amongst themselves forever. What else are conventions for?

I find these bi and tri wheel charts hard to read, because my brain just can't take in and recognize all the cross aspects. But, the bi-wheel is the first chart I looked at after that horrible day. See if you can see the aspect I found the most compelling.

*hint (look at the Asc/Desc axis, notice Saturn and Pluto)

Also what software do you use to make your charts?
