OMG! Totally fake, fake, fake! She never cried once regarding Caylee! This just sickens me. Proves that CA will do just about anything to try to gain the public's sympathy. :mad:

I don't think CA & GA have the credentials, compassion, empathy or character to advise other people in harms way as they themselves are at the very least under public scrutiny for mishandling their own predicament.JMO.

I couldn't agree more. And I wish everyone would ignore the pathetic Anthonys instead of giving them press coverage. I don't think their appearance at Haleigh's vigil was beneficial to anyone other than themselves, they were there to beg for donations to pay their own bills. Disgusting.
 
After all these people have done, I can NOT feel anything but sick about their appearance at a "Missing child" fundraiser. Fundraiser is exactly what this is too. Where were all the tears for Caylee, how hard did Cindy and George REALLY try to find her ? Now, they have all the answers, fishing boat with sonar, fingerprints for children and teddy bears for LE agencies.The person with all the answers, Casey, lived in their house for months while out on bond, somehow I don't think Haleigh's family would let Haleigh's kidnapper shack up with them. Casey had all the answers as to where Caylee was, and still she lay not even a mile from their home, in the woods, thrown out, as if garbage...Cindy and George let that child decompose for six months. They didn't demand answers, they made every attempt though to derail an investigation...they covered for Caylee's murderer.

I didn't see Trenton's father at the "vigil"...were any of the other parent's of the missing in FL there ? Hopefully, they stayed away from this sham.
 
This made my skin crawl. However, after following Haleigh's case very closely...it doesn't surprise me Crystal's side teamed up with the A fam and KFN. Birds of a feather...water seeks its own level...etc.

and I think that it clearly shows what has been MISSING in the Caylee saga from her family members. There have been no PLEAS! There have been no gutwrenching pleas to any kidnapper or babysitter or nanny or anyone for that matter. We certainly have never seen it, and if we have not heard of it HERE then I seriously doubt that it has occurred. Has anyone here ever seen Cindy almost collapse after making a plea directly to the kidnappers? Anyone???

I am expecting a great silence to follow. Those people are STILL pleading for their child to be returned, and STILL talking directly to whomever has taken her. Not so the Anthonys. Why? There has to be a reason. The reason is-they knew that Caylee was dead, and they knew who was responsible.

I saw some of this on Nancy Grace tonight. Crystal is a real drama queen. I watched her plea and she seemed as phony as Cindy. Maybe the two will make a good team for missing children.

The reason that Cindy and George aren't looking for Caylee's killer is because that is the job of LE! That is what they say if asked. If they really thought someone else murdered Caylee they would be looking in every corner of Gods green earth. They never mention that there is a killer out there unless someone asks and then they give the old song and dance about finding the killer is the job of LE. They don't seem bothered at all.

Are George and Cindy heading all of these vigils? I think that Josh might have been there as I heard something about George telling him to never give up on Trenton and someone was holding Trenton's pic up.

I'll bet George and Cindy feel so important.
 
The sight of G and C at the vigil literally turned my stomach. I wonder if they were invited or just bulldozed their way in and onto the podium. As part of their non-employed lives, they must have found the time to take a crash course in theatre/drama. Disgusting phonies both.

Yup, no doubt about it! Things have been slow for awhile, except for LKL, Cindy hasn't been getting any attention!
 
I think that if Cindy and George can help others whle they try to heal themselves it is a good thing all around. If it gets them good publicity at the same time, I can think of none who need it more. I have always thought that their helping others may ease their pain.

I don't fault them for this. My problem with them only concerms their attempts to mislead the investigation of their granddaughter's death. Whatever gets them through the night other than that is fine with me.

I agree with your post --- isn't it odd that again ca makes it all about her?????? It is like when ga was questioned by CBS about suicide---ca made it again turn to her....since of course she wrote notes...------ they just need to go home and shut up--they really aren't helping the cause...I was watching JVM today and the atty Mark E mentioned that they just need to fade away that they aren't helping---even against JVM stating their "grieving grandparents"--he didn't buy it...I was for once impressed by a defese atty!

I fell asleep with my TV on the news and I woke up hearing something about this and I thought I was dreaming because I thought "no way. They aren't stupid enough to carry their media tour over there and try to exploit those poor grieving people." But I should have known I was wrong. They are stupid and they don't care about pushing themselves and that "foundation" onto others. The A's need to go home and not come out for a long long time. They need to leave everybody alone! :mad:

:clap: Excellent post, Akashana! I really struggle with this. One half of me still wants to feel some sympathy for the Anthony family. I can't imagine losing one of my children. Most times though, I end up feeling like I have more emotion over their missing child than they do/did.

The other half is mostly my sensibilities being offended. It's so difficult to see the good in a family who never helped LE find their own missing child. Even more so, it's difficult to be hopeful about a foundation in that child's name where the family did nothing but thwart LE's attempts to locate her.

My issue here is just how helpful will they be to missing children and their parents? Do most of these unfortunate parents feel like me? That the Anthony's did not work with LE and did all they could to protect their daughter? Their actions have been less than virtuous. I'd hate to see families of missing children dealing with more pain by having to look at these people at their missing child's vigil/memorial/search party.
 
I wonder what kind of emotion was stirring in cA when inSept. of 08 she began her thrirst for knowledge of how to help missing children? Once CA was informed of how to set up up a foundation next would be gaining knowledge about all the sick crimes purpetrated on infants, children and adolescents. This research gained while in grief over a murdered grandchild would have most running to the toilet to :puke: and would lay you out as each childs story smacks you in the face that this may have happened to her granddaughter. She supposedly thought Caylee was alive at that time. Once again actions by CA show her affect didn't match those of a grieveing woman. To see CA at what looked like a rally to me was appalling. Seems like CA is selling her wares in Satsuma to hook Crystals family up with some snake oil. and the hook is the A's and kid findered crew have snared another family into the world of cons. CA poured on those alligator tears to gain sympathy towards their cause of how to maintain a steady flow of monies that can be hidden similar to illegal off shore accounts like in the Caymans. For CA to think that her speaking at similar gatherings will give her a better standing of respect in the community that's going to take a long while to gain trust of fellow citizens if ever. CA going into her Scarlett O'Hare mode of "What about me, I'v had the vapors tooooo." trying to gain her own moment of sympathy. Uh, how many months of being on camera before ugly tears came out? If you haven't checked out member NSS in the parking alot explaing how these foundations are pyramid schemes and prey on the bereived, CA's tears will mean FAR more less to you. :)

Your theory is great
I find it very un nerving coming from them, because it is not right. It reeks of insincerity.
They did not support the search for their granddaughter, but hinder it.
They did not plead to find a murderer, but cover it.
They did not stand behind CAYLEE for the prosecution.
IMHO they are not using CAYLEE'S name honorably, but to have an income.
They can not sincerely advise anyone. Everything they did can not be revered.
As a result they can not be trusted to run a non profit, or to stand as any kind of a roll model.

For the life of me,I just don't understand why CA thinks anyone would believe a statement like that.We've seen her swinging a hanger,spewing vile and pulling GA off of protesters.We've seen her climb in and out of limos on her way to meetings.She chugs water and chomps on gum at the worst possible moments.We've seen her give a tour of her completely staged home.We've seen her in contempt during a depo .Never have we seen CA overcome with grief and near collapse.Never has she made a plea for Caylee's safe return.
