I've been lurking and reading everything. I think what the rest of you think, I guess - he is deluded to think he is better than a qualified lawyer at defending himself. He doesn't trust anyone. He is controlling. He is not dumb. I don't know what education he has gotten - maybe GED or more in various juvie (speculation on whether he was ever in juvie) or prison stays - but he can be logical in his own twisted way, uses good grammar, spells reasonably well, is able to find templates for his legal filings, etc.
Thanks! It's always nice to get a "lurking" and seldom posting (haha) poster's opinion! I figure you're reading and analyzing most times before posting. Therefore, unlike some of us keyboard happy posters, I do value your input because I know you think it through.

Take this publication with a grain of salt. It's in the UK. Where do they get their news? I think they glean it from message boards and online news articles and mesh it all together. This is not a newspaper, yet it's allowed to be quoted here.

They actually have people here in the states that do the news articles. ONe of them came to CL's house trying to do an interview. They told her that people in the UK LOVE US drama.

Ha. I bet they do. We have so much of it here, probably keeps them in business.

When I worked for radio a few years back, my coworker and I were at the court house awaiting election results . We were broadcasting live that night from the court house. I was surprised when a very aggressive lady was crowding in to grab the results as they unfolded. She was a stringer for USA Today. And my area isnt big city area. Im 50 mi from a big city. We are rural and small towns.

a moot point: a side issue, problem or question which does not have to be decided to resolve the main issues in a dispute.

4. The Def disputes Plaintiff entitlement to divorce on grounds of indignities as none are proven, aside from moot circumstances , the Plaintiff may be pregnant.

I may be wrong and don't know how to word what I am trying to say. But I THINK he is speaking of Plaintiff may be pregnant.

Sorry, I am a bit behind here and still trying to catch up but when he says "moot circumstances" what he means is this: They are both incarcerated and facing very serious charges. They are not living together, cannot see each other and cannot communicate in any way. Being divorced or married, it doesn't matter. It is a moot point, "moot circumstances".

Not defending AL by no means. He jumped from a 3 story window. He very well may have had injuries from it. Remember when he was on TV he said he had untreated injuries. I was thinking about the wreck when he said it so that was his own fault. But if he complained after the jump and they didn't take him for medical care until a couple of days later he may have a valid complaint. Not that I believe his whole story about being threatened to be shot etc. He probably did have injuries and its a wonder he didn't break his neck. (Not that I care) He could have somewhat of a case there. jmo

I agree with you. Not that I care either but if he sued for this type of thing once before and won, then who is to say he won't win again. Honestly, I wish every room at LE had cameras, for their protection as well. It would avoid a lot of the he said/she said. Unfortunately, LE has to be very careful these days, because so much focus is on police brutality and you know AL will use that to his advantage.

I think you're probably right. I do think AL knows exactly how to work the system. The cops told him to get down and he didn't, then later jumped and tried to run if I remember the police report correctly. He's all like, ok, I'll jump down and hurt myself and sue them. Lol.
ETA: Also, remember his prison interview with the sling on his arm? I bet he was hoping that woman interviewing him would ask questions about it. Attention, attention, attention. The guy loves it!

NO!!!!! But she knew I would not approve of such! And to be honest it pisses me off even as I read it tonight. Can I say piss or is that in violation of TOS? If so please delete Mods. Sorry!

Just remember it maybe true and it may not. It is not like AL is above lying for his own benefit.

I know they were operating under the assumption that BC may be alive and time was crucial. They may not have been aware of his previous suit but with this dude, getting him medical attention asap would have been a good thing to protect themselves. Any pain he had Im sure he dramatized it though.

Exactly. I would be careful giving him plastic utensils to eat with in prison. He will find someway to hurt himself and sue.

edited to ask: What do they eat with in prison? lol

I just can't understand his thinking..... Who cares about Beverly Carter.... I deserve the right to poop with privacy and peace and quiet!!! There are no words to describe the absurdity of this!

News flash Aaron Lewis... from the time my first child was born until my second child was about 6 years old I never took one poop or shower alone in peace in quite. That's 11 years of having someone come watch me poop while telling me to hurry up.

This sense of entitlement that he seems to have makes me wonder... Is this whining and complaining "I've been mistreated" claim simply a ploy for control over his situation? As a way to control others? Is it for money? Attention? Or does he actually believe that despite murdering an innocent woman that he deserves to be treated better than others...Because he is somehow superior to others. Psychologically... It's fascinating. Don't get me wrong... I think he's a disgusting human being.... But fascinating.

Haaaaa!!! Exactly! My son is turning 6 next week. I am an only parent. If he doesn't show up in the bathroom while I am taking a bath (and usually he arrives with lots of other random items and toys that he thinks need to get in the bathtub with me), I jump out worried. Talk about torture, Arron! Get over it! I have not had a proper shower or bathroom break in 6 years! And let's not even talk about getting proper medical attention within a moment! Most of us have to tough it out at LEAST for a few days due to low finances or being busy or other responsibilities that have to come before it. You would be out in the free world if you did not kidnap and kill another human for no good reason at all. This is on YOU, buddy.

Sporks. It is like a spoon/fork combo. Can you tell I watch too much Dateline? Ha.
