Whether she was actually with Brandon or not is up for debate.

If you look at her last post, it has her hubby saying something about "this time feels different". It makes it sounds like she's run off before. The last post was Dec 30 at 10:44 pm

I couldn't find any pics of her on the hubby's FB except the profile pic....and it was just recently changed.

The BM she was supposedly going to party with is married and has 2 kids. Sounds like an on an off marriage. IMO

I think I worded what I worded wrong, sorry. What I was trying to say in the earlier post is that there are a lot of pictures of Cassie in hubby's fb but they are all listed under the profile album. So, it's just not the one profile pic of them together.

I hope that made sense because I think I just lost myself.

Not sure if he is, or if that's just a figure of speech. He doesn't mention her missing (or mention her at all) on his fb page, which could mean he's got better things to do (like finding her) than updating his page, IDK.

From what I understand they are split up and she currently has a boyfriend. Its sad too, they look so happy in the pictures

There are a lot of people worried about this girl and I hope she is returned safely. We had to hound the local news to get them to cover the story.

The woman’s mother, Pearl Cook, tells 5NEWS that police have heard several stories from Cotta's friends and witnesses. Cook now believes her daughter was not going to a party that night. She says Cotta had been drinking and worries something may have happened to her. Cook says Cotta sent a text to a friend at 11 p.m. that night but 'it didn't make sense.'

Cotta's Facebook page shows she posted a status update just before 11 p.m. that read "Blah blah blah.. Cheers people! (Expletive) it!" and later commented that her cell phone battery was about to die.

I usually try to keep an open mind in cases, but the bolded statement had my hinky meter in the high alert stage from the get-go. It just sounded like an extremely poor attempt to start covering his tracks (an attempt which backfired to the max).

So sorry to hear she is gone but thankful she was found quickly. Thoughts and prayers for her family.
