There’s a man on Facebook that looks similar and has the same name. He has a little boy that kinda resembles the photo posted. It is strange to me that if a child is missing, there’s so little info, like nothing is published, no DOB, no parents names, etc. It makes me wonder if anyone really wants a kid to be found.

I just happened upon this case randomly, and based on what NamUs currently says, I wonder if he was actually a victim back in 1995 who has never been recovered nor seen justice.
Does it not seem if he was fine and with a parent in the U.S., they would have located him by now? He's 39 now.

Derrick was last seen on March 4, 1995. Derrick's father advised they were arguing and Derrick jumped out of the vehicle on Camp Robinson Rd in NLR. Last seen walking south on Camp Robinson Rd. Last seen wearing blue jeans and a green jacket. Derrick has a 4 inch scar on his upper right calf. Maybe enroute to mother's house in Oklahoma.

So he must still be missing. If he jumped out of Dads vehicle and started walking, and the poster says he may be traveling with a female, one can assume he made it to Moms? Odd that they say female and not Mom, Aunt, Gma, etc.

There is nothing to go on. I do not understand how there can not be more information. Someone had to have known where this boy was living and it says He is believed to have been taken by an adult female. Taken from where. Where is the family? I find it so sad and somewhat suspicious when a family does not speak out. Unless he didn't have a family but still someone should know something about a 13 year old boy. There is no news articles. It is very difficult to help without more information. Sadly he is still missing

Bumping this in April 2024. Somebody knows something! Did the Dad chase him down? Did Derrick run away from him and hide? Or was he killed? So many questions and no answers. I don't know much about 1992 in Arkansas. But I think there were plenty of gangs active around that time. AKA-Bangin' in Little Rock.
