Her maiden name is kimberly jean Nichols. The other names haggins, Lindsey, and barton was all from when she was married. She is my mother. My name is Hilliary nicole haggins. She disappeared when I was 16. The last day i ever talked to her was christmas day of 2010 and last time i seen her was thanksgiving of 2010. I am now 24 years old and still think about her everyday and wonder what happened. I also cant seem to find any thing on her besides this sight and one more. I live in west helena arkansas and the cops around here don't seem to do anything when it comes to stuff like this or really anything. I went one time when i was 17 to ask about if they heard anything and they acted like they knew nothing about it. She was reported missing. She was on memphis news and in the newspaper and all but cops done nothing. They found her truck in maumale, ar and no one done anything about it. It got sold instead of kept as evidence like it should have been. I look all the time to see if i see anything new about her and never do. How does someone just disappear and no one do anything. Our family reached out to the cops and filed reports and put it on news and offered rewards and all and still nothing.

Let me begin by stating that my heart is with you guys & I think of Kimberly often.
Your mom and I went to the same babysitter when we were young. I even have an old Polaroid of a bunch of us together at our sitter’s house in West Helena.
My family moved from the area around ‘87.
Kimberly & I didn’t stay connected, however, we did reconnect in 2009!
I am brand new to this site so I’m not keen on what’s “safe” to post vs. a private discussion so I’ll mention a few things and see what happens next….
The way Kimberly & I reconnected after so long is wildly random. The mutual acquaintance that led to us reconnecting is not someone I knew well or for very long, yet whenever I think about this person, their personality, certain traits, I just get this creepy feeling.
Then, the timing…this was just before she went missing? My memory is pretty shifty but it had to be 2009, I just cannot remember the month we connected.
Finally, the location of her truck is important to me and there are reasons why and it can all be ruled out or not.
I haven’t waited this long to say something. I posted on a different platform that’s no longer available. I’m pretty sure I posted about her, tried to message her, & I do remember talking to her brother on the telephone about it all. I called police back then & told them what I knew as well.
I want to help if I’m able and I’m not interested in a reward. Kimberly was my friend. I don’t know if any of the details I recall are of relevance but it never leaves me. Maybe it’s because we have no answers but for years, I haven’t been able to talk myself out of this theory. I wish to rule them out but I want to know everything they know about the last time they saw Kimberly.
I joined this website after hearing about it on a podcast,”Hell & Gone”. The host is from Arkansas & talks about a lot of disappearances, especially in Arkansas. She currently has a hotline you can call and she’s running a series called “Hell & Gone - Murder Line”. I know it probably doesn’t sound like a number you want to call but she’s good and I think if enough of us call maybe she’ll look into it and do an episode that will at least help reach more people. The number is at the beginning and end of each podcast or you can probably just look it up. I’ll try posting it to this thread.
Know that I am here and I don’t know how my suspicions were overlooked in the beginning because I do believe I was never taken seriously. I only had a feeling….
