Lincks age is really bothering me. I know the witnesses were children and it was dark, but surely the parking lot had some lighting or nobody would've let their kids play there, and I think kids would be able to differentiate between a youngish guy and a pensioner. One of the witnesses stated that Lincks was not the man she saw, I tend to believe her.
I just showed my kids, aged 11 and 9, the photo of Lincks and asked them to estimate his age, the oldest said around 60 and then the younger one decided 57 after he heard his brother say 60. My point being, they quickly surmised he was older, and definitely wouldn't have guessed a whole generation lower.
I don't doubt the DNA evidence, but I would want to be 100% certain that nobody else had access to Lincks truck that night.
