The courts are considering carrying out a new expert appraisal of the Ford pickup truck belonging to Pérez and Caillava to search for equine genetic material in the vehicle. Loan, before arriving at his grandmother Catalina's house, traveled on horseback with his father and could have transported genetic material (from the horse).

The investigations carried out on Macarena's cell phone revealed a series of suggestive long-term contacts around the critical moment of the case. This long list of calls she made since the late hours of June 12 is drawing a lot of attention in the office of Judge Cristina Pozzer Penzo.

“The list begins with extensive calls on June 12 at 11pm ,” says a key source in the case. The contacts continued the day after, when Loan disappeared, around lunch at her grandmother Catalina’s house. “Between 13:09 and 14:28 she made three calls of 18 minutes, 20 minutes and 20 minutes respectively,” continues the same source.

This clashes head-on with the young woman's own testimony: "Macarena says that when Loan got lost she was sleeping and they woke her up to help in the search," says another investigator.

So this is the first kidnapping/human trafficking case of its kind that I have followed. I feel like I can help to fight against this kind of trafficking better if I understand it better. These little children like Loan, say from 4 years old all the way to 12 years old, what are they selling these children into? Sex trafficking, forced labor, some migrants' fake child to help them get released once they reach the United States? They're all horrible results, but it's just so hard to imagine so many people being complicit in stealing someone's child for money.

A nurse from the city of Córdoba reported that Carlos Pérez and María Victoria Caillava were posing as pediatricians at a health center. Carlos Martín Ramírez is the name of the nurse who gave his testimony to colleagues from national media. He said that the couple worked at the place located in the Obispo Angelelli neighborhood of that city during the time of the pandemic. There they posed as pediatricians and even received and attended to several people, in particular, pregnant women.

He also clarified that they were accompanied by a group of doctors and nurses who "stole the medicines, stole the milk from all the children, ate barbecue, drank wine. There were about 15 people, including Pérez and Caillava, he said.

Ramírez accompanied his statements with a photograph that would date from the health center in question and in which you can see who would be Caillava wearing a mask at that time.

He also identified and named nurse Alicia Axson, who treated Caillava the same night Loan disappeared in Corrientes. "She was on duty with me," said the nurse.

The judge has requested to talk to the children who were at the party again. There were 6 children there. Loan and these 5. It looks like 3 girls and 2 boys? One is a son of Antonio Benítez (Joaquin?), another of Laudelina Peña, two children of Mónica Millapi and her nephew. I think it was one of Monica's children or her nephew they were going to take, but Loan showed up and he was better somehow. They wouldn't take Benitez or Laudelina's children because they are involved in the kidnapping.

I sure hope the judge has a solid understanding of young children and how they process and think. If not, I hope there will be a child specialist on hand.

Julieta shocked everyone by exposing a plot that she claims is common in the Litoral province. Julieta was summoned to testify before the Judge for her statements. The 9 de Julio resident made a very serious complaint before the cameras and the Justice took note of it. The woman pointed the finger at María Victoria Caillava. “Caillava is always involved in politics. No matter who comes to power, because of political alliances and that kind of thing. She has been in the municipality for a long time, holding important positions,” said Julieta.

The reporter got straight to the point and asked her if she knew of any involvement by Caillava in the buying and selling of children. “I can't confirm this, because I have no proof. But if you ask the neighbours… Many mothers have sold their children and it was said that Victoria Caillava was in charge of doing the paperwork ,” Julieta explained on A24. "There are people who sold their children and Caillava filed paperwork as if someone else had given birth to them," she added.

Poverty isn't an excuse to sell children!

Judge Pozzer Penzo ordered the immediate release of retired police officer, Francisco Amado Méndez, who had been arrested after being pointed out by Laudelina Peña, the boy's aunt, as the alleged "informant" of former police commissioner Walter Maciel.

Not them.

The Ministry of Health of the province of Córdoba reports that the information indicating that Caillava María Victoria and Pérez Carlos Guido worked for the Provincial Government is absolutely false. The aforementioned persons have no record in Peoplenet (human resources platform of the province), nor any background as suppliers of the State, nor any record of billing to the Provincial Government in the Single Financial Administration System (SUAF). Likewise, the photos published in various media where it is attributed that they are Caillava and Pérez, in reality correspond to the faces of two people who actually work for the Ministry.

The federal judge of Goya, Cristina Pozzer Penzo, has decided to reject the request for detention, questioning, and a search of the home of the lawyer José Fernández Codazzi. This request was made by Fernando Burlando. In her ruling, Judge Pozzer Penzo held that there were not sufficient levels of suspicion to proceed with summoning Fernández Codazzi for questioning, nor to issue an arrest warrant against him. The judge stressed that the investigation related to alleged crimes of concealment and coercion is being carried out in a separate case, which has been delegated to the federal prosecutor of Goya.

I found this article from last year about the murder of a journalist in Corrientes who was killed immediately after publishing about corrupt police and prosecutors. In posts on her Facebook profile, she claimed Corrientes police officers were involved in the sale of drugs.

Are they using stolen children as cover to get drug runners across the borders? Abandoned on the other side, where no one knows who they are, if they are left to survive at all? Drug traffickers need 'safe' passage, traveling with a child might offer that.

This seems layers deep. I don't think this is an isolated abduction at all. Part of something much bigger, much scarier and lining a lot of powerful pockets.

An abandoned plane? Maybe they should look for Loan's DNA in this too.

An abandoned plane was found on National Route 12. On Tuesday morning, around 7:00 a.m., an unusual discovery was made in the province of Corrientes: A single-engine plane was found abandoned on National Route 12, near kilometer 1130, on the way to the town of Itá Ibaté.

The aircraft, with characteristics similar to a Cessna 206 model and white and burgundy in color, It was discovered by passers-by who immediately alerted the authorities. The aircraft was parked on the south side of the asphalt, on the shoulder, in the upward direction of the road.

Not the borders between South American borders but out of South America, through Central America and into the US.

If impoverished mothers are signing away their children under threat or promise, they are likely imagining a better life for their children...

Imagine the payout for a stream of children, with forged paperwork, allowing drug runners easy passage. Drug traffickers, human traffickers, there's big money in running all of it. If they've got help in high places, pockets are being lined in silver.

Why Loan would be stolen, seems too high risk, but then, if everyone was paid to keep secrets, cause of faked death might've been a car accident, body pretend-recovered, cremated without viewing. And no follow up questions.

4 year olds. Small enough to be portable. Big enough to eat whatever's available. Old enough to walk, toilet trained, young enough that they can't adequately articulate what they know.

Reverse engineer it. If runners need children for passage, someone needs a conduit to them. Someone with a lot of help, a lot of looking the other way, a lot of forgery and rubber-stamping.

If the Judge can't trust the local pd, then who is looking for Loan? Are they looking in Mexico and the US? Unclaimed children who were brought across with paperwork that appeared legit but have no kin in the new place and no old kin looking for them.

If that's what happened here, Loan was virtually unfindable in minutes, not days. Organized syndicate.

On the upside, it means he might still need alive. Abandoned with false paperwork, rescued by someone/some agency who is looking for parents that don't exist.

Rosario, Argentina, city of bunkers and soldiers

The little soldier is under 16 years old. He sells drugs in a kind of sentry box they call a bunker. The door is very low and sometimes the little boy crawls in. An adult locks him in from the outside with several padlocks. This way the child, the money and the drugs are kept safe. The air penetrates through a hole the size of a brick through which the soldier takes out the cocaine and collects the bills. After about eight hours someone will open the door, the child will hand over the leftover drugs along with the money collected and another little soldier will take over.

The monkeys

Young people with hands small enough to pass doses of cocaine through the windows of the bunkers became known as the gang’s “little soldiers.”

The Los Monos criminal gang, led by members of the Cantero family, has been operating for more than 20 years in Rosario, a strategically located city in Argentina.
