Loan's grandmother's cell phone: 34 deleted calls and strange activity. The 86-year-old woman organized the lunch where Loan was last seen. Catalina recorded 13 calls, between 11:56 and 13:30. Macarena Peña arrived at 10:41, with her sister, Loan, and José. Laudelina was already there because "she had gone to cook."

For this reason, the activity of the device is strange and unusual, since, according to the expert report, the woman communicated with people who were already in her house.

Communications Before Loan's Disappearance.

The first on the list is outgoing: she called “victoriac” and the conversation lasted 2 minutes and 24 seconds. At 12:30, she dialed Loan’s parents, José and María Luisa Noguera and spoke for 40 seconds. This number was not in her address book.

Two minutes later, at 12:32, he had a connection with Caillava, which lasted one second. Then, she called Caillava again which lasted eight seconds. One minute later, an outgoing call to José/María, lasting three seconds. The conversation was cut off and resumed for three seconds, at 12:34.

At 12:36, she called Benítez. The document does not specify how long this contact lasted, but it states that at 12:38 she recorded a two-second communication with José/María. At 12:40, she recorded an outgoing call with “victoriac” lasting two seconds, a duration that is repeated at 12:40. Then, at 12:58, she contacted Laudelina, for 47 seconds.

At 13:00, another call to Caillava lasting 2 minutes and 31 seconds. At 13:08, another connection was recorded with José/Maria lasting 22 seconds, which was repeated at 13:27, lasting one minute and 41 seconds.

Finally, there is an outgoing communication lasting almost two minutes, at 1:30 p.m., to a number that is not saved.

At 2:25 p.m., Laudelina receives the first warning from Benítez: Loan had been lost.

Communications after the disappearance

At 16:12, Catalina's cell phone was used again, with an incoming call from a cell phone, from a Buenos Aires line, lasting 9 minutes and 25 seconds. Two hours later, at 18:02, she called Benítez for three seconds. At the same time, she records an outgoing call with Diego Peña lasting just over four minutes, which she resumed at 18:08 and 18:12, without the report specifying the duration or whether it was carried out.

The experts marked as “interesting” the six calls to the subscriber in the name of Noguera (also used by José) at 12:30; 12:33; 12:34; 12:38; 12:39 and 13:08. At the same time, they highlighted the two calls with Benítez at 12:36 and 18:02. The call to the Laudelina line, at 12:58 and the contacts with Diego Peña. Finally, the connection at 13:30 stands out.

Was Catalina talking to Jose who was already there? Did he even have a cell phone? Or was she talking to someone at Loan's house, like one of his older siblings? Pretty sure its not Loan's mom because they supposedly didn't get along.

$64,000 question: was the grandmother in possession of her phone?

Easy for someone who didn't want to use his own phone.

Why $64,000?!?

Let's say, hypothetically, most of the family are involved and they all did it for money or for some kind of gain.

Would Loan Pena really have needed to be reported missing at all if the family decided to sell him
?

But Loan's parents have 7 other kids I believe. Would all those kids and Loan's mother AGREE to sell Loan to traffickers? I cannot believe that. IMO

Maybe not all, but I was thinking more along the lines of the older ones (gran, uncle, aunt, dad) more so than his brothers (some maybe). Not his mother.

But if his dad and gran were in on it and let's say one or two older brothers then why report it?

Surely it could have been done without any media attention.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to think that they are involved either, not at all. That really would be like a nail in the coffin.

Hypothetical only.

I guess that was my point but I didn't really clarify---what I meant was if the younger siblings and the mom weren't involved, then th4ey'd definitely want to report him missing.

I don't believe Loan's dad is involved either. At least I hope not/

I think maybe his brother or sister, maybe his older sons?
