What really stand out to me is that George feels so self-important that he feels comfortable to JUDGE everyone..regardless of their station in life..and that Include's those LE officers he claims he rode along with..and not to mention ridicule newbie employees at that job..and judging this suspicious person he saw that night as a "Nare Do Well" on drugs or something and up to no good..He really in truly needs help that he doesnt believe he needs..His is ONE LOOSE CANNON where ever he lives..He's paranoid and wants and needs to be RECOGNIZED as Important..In other words..one dangerous person that walks among the public.. and that scares te pajeebus out of me!!

And also that it's somewhat less likely that he would have expected or gotten preferential treatment from SPD. jmo

Except for the fact that he consequently had email interactions with Bill Lee praising him as the new police chief, which Lee denies.

Then, eight months after Zimmerman’s diatribe, he sent an e-mail to the new police chief, Bill Lee. “I have high hopes for, and restored faith in your administration and the Sanford Police Department in its entirety.”

I also can't help but notice how completely comfortable he is waltzing around unescorted at the police station - just three days after he shot and killed Trayvon. As if he runs the place.

A video released last week by the state attorney prosecuting the case shows Zimmerman, a bandage on his head, walking unescorted at the police station three days after the killing. Records show Lee and Zimmerman exchanged courteous emails last fall, when the volunteer wrote to praise a police department employee.

I'm sorry, but didn't the forum take place in January 2011? This article is dated April 19. Are you saying that Lee was at the meeting in Janurary, or?

I'm saying he would've known of Mr. Zimmerman's comments as he was coming in as the new Chief of Police. I would find it pretty ridiculous that the new chief would come in knowing that the former was forced out and not ask "so, what are the issues?" - even if the former WASN'T forced out, the first thing would be to get the department in order and maintain that order. How can you know what the issues are without hearing them?

I don't know whether Bill Lee was at that meeting specifically, but I have no reason to believe he hadn't heard the audio recording or read the words of Mr. Zimmerman when he was put into that position on May 8th.
