Just watched channel 5 news. Phil Williams got access to ZAs facebook page and on the day she disappeared he made an awful quote at 7:39 am about a stupid wh..... and then in dec 2013, while dressed in camo, he said "who am I hunting now"... when tne transcript comes out from the report, I'll try to post .. well i'll have to get on the deskstop to do it.

People sometimes have the mistaken notion that you need a body and/or a crime scene to prove a crime has been committed. You do not... Various pieces can be missing, ie murder weapon, actual body, etc. even just hair fibers from Holly on a blanket in the trunk of a car can be damning evidence these days.

I think its possible one of these other people involved in the pearl theft...gave the info LE needed.

Well, that is a good question. That neighbor of Zach's said there was some kind of stalking of Holly at the coon hunt (which really sounds legit to me) but last night the family spokesman Kevin Bromley said Holly did not sing there, and that Karen did not attend. That totally contradicts what we have heard from others so far.

I thought I had a vid of Holly singing at the coon hunt, but I am at a loss to find it (no time) in the 805 files in the main archive.

I recall a video of her singing in church but I've never seen one at the coon hunt.

I also remember the video. But, all I have for an MSN is the portion of an article I kept to finish at a later time. I sometimes cut and paste to my tablet's sticky app articles to read offline.

I have an article from WBTV ....in which unfortunately the link no longer works since it was a few years ago.

Anyhow it mentions Holly singing at the coon hunt held to benefit St. Jude's.

Sorry I tend to type as if I'm texting (incomplete sentences)...HORRIBLE habit. I agree and I wasn't implying that they couldn't convict without a body (but you can't 100% confirm death without one). It was more of a statement in response to what the quote said. If they don't have Holly....I wondered what info was provided to know that she was dead. Not his confession, but someone involved in the pearl theft that "confessed" to knowing what happened or heard him talk about it, etc....

I believe if we look at the timeline of events regarding his late Jan or early Feb arrests, and the pearl fiasco (how did he escape being actually charged in that deal?) the home bust involving the gf's sister's brother where he showed up at the front door and said "these are stolen" then the gs's sister's assault then the gf saying she's just jealous then his arrest for assault then search warrants then the search then the arrest. Not sure the right order but it's all gotta be connected somehow. Not in Holly's killing, but where the house of cards start falling. JMO

I think in this case, the most important element is establishing the connection to Holly. In a lot of cases, it is a family member that is the perp. Here, it is not someone associated with her in any meaningful way so that factual connection has to be established. I think that is perhaps what they have finally found.

I haven't followed this case but have read a few articles the last few days and was pretty surprised that Adams was identified in various places as a suspect yet no action had been taken in all this time. Given his history it's hard to imagine LE overlooked him. So, it must have been they did not have probable cause to search until recently and the search must have produced results sufficient to connect him to Holly. It is actually not that hard to prove death in this type of no body case where there is factual evidence that someone was removed against their will, injured during the removal and has not appeared again for years.

I think it depends on the amount of blood found. I'm afraid they will need more for a conviction, IMO.

I still find it sad when people don't think a case will be solved if it isn't solved in the first month or two. There is a magnitude of "ducks" that need to be put into place before an arrest can be made in a case. We all need to be patient and have faith sometimes.

I can't wait to see Nancy Grace tonight. This all happened after her show went on air yesterday. She will have this guy tried, convicted, executed, and buried by the end of the show. I think she would have had people on death row for jaywalking if the law had allowed it back when she was a prosecutor.

IMO for LE to publicly state and charge Murder 1 something concrete was found in that house. Something that will hold up in Court. Something that absolutely proves Holly is deceased. What it is remains to be seen. IMO.

Actually, I remember from Caylee Anthony, if they have a hair follicle, they can tell whether it came from a person that was alive or dead. Follicles are waxy,oily like. I don't know how long the DNA could be extracted from a hair follicle. If it was retrieved from the water in the well, it might not degrade very rapidly. Anybody know about hair follicles.
