I can't believe it. I still can't find the links for the reports about the other fisherman. I must be losing it, lol:::banghead:
Thank you Elley Mae. I have cropped the picture at the link you provided of Nanki Beach. In looking at the picture, the reef at Nanki appears to be close to shore. In looking at the map, if Robyn disappeared in that particular location (Giordano claimed they snorkeled near shore,) her body would have drifted into the jetty.
I don't believe they were ever in the water at Nanki. JMO

One of the major problems is that some of the older videos are just being deleted as time marches on. I vividly recall watching one of the major news channel videos (with Matt Gutman narrating if memory serves) where they showed the fisherman who had been on his boat and witnessed RG and GG on the "beach" (or more properly, "jetty"). He was shown at the "search" location to the left of several other people. While they didn't zoom in for a closeup of his face, it was definitely not Mr. Silva and couldn't have been, since Mr. Silva was noted saying that LE hadn't interviewed him.
I've kept a folder of links on this whole case and nearly half of them are dysfunctional now, and even though I know I had bookmarked this particular one right after viewing it, I've been going through the ones that work and can't see it anymore.
The witness says he was fishing on a beach on that day and he saw the two take a walk along the reef around 4 p.m., but they never went in the water.
A short time later, the couple drove away and he never saw either of them again, the witness says.

Your right as that article mentions a fisherman who saw them leave. It's the same reports about the same guy Mr.Silva..IMO..Granted there were other witnesses who saw them walking,or at the shore or in the restaurant. And even another fisherman..But only this one witness saw them leave the area in a car. And no one saw them in the water. IMO
If they never left in the car and they never went in the water. The only other scenario that makes sense to me is she left in another car or she took a boat ride off the shore or by that nearby pier/dock a couple hundred yards away. Maybe thats why he changed his story about how his shoes and socks got soaking wet? JMHO

this video is good to watch it shows the ocean and waves in the area.
That is an interesting picture since it shows roughly where the current clips across the end of the island (it is the blue line just below the tip of the island, very close to shore at that point). As it passes the tip it will cause turbulence to the west (you can see where it has deposited sand in the bay and scoured into those deposits). In that area you would expect to have shifting currents going in multiple directions as the turbulence eddies back and forth around in that area. The most dangerous area to swim in there is just off that tip to the west of baby beach. That little slanted beach there would probably have apparently sheltered waters which would be very close to powerful currents which could jet you off into the carribean current if you strayed too far out. It is probably one of the most dangerous beaches to go swimming at on the island.

The Aruban prosecutor's office said in a release that Giordano says they had gone snorkeling behind the Nanki Country Club when she went under.
This is the video where it states that GG left the search early to "sleep in his hotel".
We had before believed this was something that was misreported because we saw the photos of GG after dark with searchers and police. I don't remember ever seeing this particular video, and hearing this now it seems obvious to me that the police and search team were out there searching all night long into the next day, around the clock, hour after hour. So when they reported that GG left early to go sleep in his hotel, it is referring to GG leaving the search sometime that evening or night, while everyone else stayed to continue their search for Robyn.
Ok, I finally found this, and this witness does not really look like Silva, imo. Not the same video anyway, as Silva was wearing a hat.

In the transcription area of the web page for that video (as well as in the video itself), it states: "according to the police report obtained by NBC news". Does anyone know if the actual police report has ever been made available for perusal on the Internet? A brief search shows that there are a lot of other references to it (searching with: "Robyn Gardner" "police report"), but the actual report doesn't seem to appear anywhere. Is this something that perhaps some MSM might be willing to divulge? Is it possible that WS credentials might suffice to obtain this report as well?

This is the link to Mr. Silva's video and there is a second video that follows it with Matt Guttman regarding the fisherman on the boat who he describes as "star" witness. IMO this witness is important because had GG and RG been out in the water and GG started struggling you would think the fisherman would have noticed as he was right there a short distance from where GG claimed they were snorkeling. jmo
