You know, I am not arguing with you about what you saw or heard
I am telling you what i saw and heard

Maybe you should watch mine as well

I thought you might desire the enlightenment on how there is proof Baez lied. I am not contesting what you said in your post, you are contesting what I wrote in mine. It confuses people and it is needless back and forth when you haven't even viewed what I am talking about.

Who does Baez think he is claiming they had insurance policies on "each other" as if to imply that Robyn took out a policy on GG making herself the beneficiary. When it is already known that according to the documents that have been released he made his mother his beneficiary. This man just makes me ill

I am confused???? Have we not already seen the supporting documentation proving that GG had this coverage on her? TIA for answering my question.

BTW - IMO I could never in good faith support or defend anything that came out of JB's mouth.

Me either and hey shoes.. He's just playing a defense lawyer and twisting stories. I disregard anything he says about this case.

I'm waiting for another shoe to drop.

I had to look twice at the Robyn actress for the re-enactment.

<modsnip> GVG's lawyer is just that -- his lawyer. Lawyers are charged with performing certain tasks, and that includes advocating their client's position. With lawyers on each side and a judiciary in the middle, that's supposedly how some approximation of "justice" is reached. That's the way the system works, here, there and elsewhere.

It's common to find people bashing defense lawyers. "How can you represent that person!?" < mod snip >

Baez is a good lawyer. I'd hire him in a heartbeat if I needed counsel in a case he was qualified to handle. Whether you like the results of his work or not is something perhaps you should think about as it related to the process, not the people who carried it through.

My 2 cents, as everyone says, and my opinion only (as if there was anything else on this sad little planet).

You do the same. I am surprised you don't see the lies by Baez, but that is fine.

JB is doing what he's getting paid to do. It's defense attorney tactic, fact manipulations. Not outright lies but twisted in a way hoping people will draw a different conclusion and make his client look better.

Technically they did have policies on each other but JB conveniently leaves out that it was GG who took both of them out. he doesn't come out and say that RG bought hers, just hopes people draw that conclusion. Then if he gets any backlash, he can come back and say it was taken out of context, that he never said RG bought her own. Tired old DA tactics.

He's doing what Joe Tacopina tried to do with van der Sloot in the media. JT wound up looking the fool with egg all over his face, I suspect it will be the same with JB.
JMHO

I see outright lies when he is asked by George if he is saying that RG took out insurance on GG. He says "Correct." More than once, and that is an outright lie. I supplied the proof - the document itself. It's not opinion. He lied.

I know some consider Robyn to be a little old to be a victim of human trafficking, but if she's still young enough to be an aspiring model maybe that's not the case, plus, just look at these photos. Just a thought.

Things to consider are not only her age (and what that's worth) but the fact he already had lined up a 1.5 million dollar pay-out for her accidental death. There is quite a risk with those tattoos that she would be spotted if she was sold. He then would be facing about 5 years in prison for insurance fraud.

Technically RG did take out a policy on him. There were two policies, one allegedly signed by RG, not?

Although we might suspect that it is, it hasn't been proven yet that it was fraud or that GG forged her signature. So technically, JB hasn't outright lied.

That's JMHO and how I see it, we've all seen defense attorneys time after time in the media putting out what's going to make their client look better.

Advocating his client's position is one thing, lying for him is just taking it too far, jmo.:)

He paid for the travel policies because he paid for her ticket. She did not pay for the policy or the trip so JB did lie. If he died she would have not benefited other than she had a ticket home. That's it.

Also, 110 pounds must have been a long time ago because she clearly weighs more than that in her pictures here. jmo

I know you're probably right, HS, but without a body I'm having a hard time ruling it out completely, jmo.

There are two policies, one GG took out on RG (which has her alleged signature), then there is the form GG filled out for himself, which he put his mother as beneficiary. RG had nothing to do with that form. She did not take out insurance on GG. Baez lied, plane and simple.

FTR, I'm not defending JB. I don't care about him one way or the other.

But he didn't say that RG paid for the policy. He did say that GG was the beneficiary because he paid for the trip. Did you watch the video?

U.S. Government releases 2011 Human Trafficking Report. Rates Aruba at Tier Two:

http://aruba-daily.com/newspaper/?p=1288

I think this is confusing because any problems Aruba might have with human trafficking is probably what comes into the country not what is going out. There are more jobs in Aruba than native Arubans. They have to import their employees from other countries (usually South America) to do the menial jobs such as, cleaning hotel rooms, working on construction to build new hotels, etc. That labor comes from outside the country. How well they are treated and paid????? Who knows. But outgoing...I have never heard they have a problem plus we would know about it everytime someone disappeared.

It's a very small island, I mean really small. Everyone knows everyone's business. Easy to get the scoop about what is happening on the island. jmo

Yes I watched one video this morning. I have not seen the other one. But I think it was established earlier with pictures released of the policies and statements by the agent that GG had bought the policies and paid for both. RG did not buy a separate policy that we know of. If JB is saying that he should produce the policy. Being such a great forensic expert I'm sure he has a copy, if it exists. jmo

Thanks again for posting that!

There are two photographers she mentions in the thread above:

1. an aspiring photographer
2. a professional photographer

What insights could these two provide? I'm thinking that RF could be the aspiring photographer, but who knows?

P.S. It has always been my opinion that those photos are very sexual and aimed at the so-called "adult" market. Well, I'm an adult, and that is not my market, just saying.

Why did she go this route? Why did she think she could go this route?

Just occurred to me that it seems a little odd that Robyn would be planning to do photo shoots when she had gained 20 pounds and was very possibly self conscious about her weight. So it's possible photo shoots were never in the equation after all.
