I also have a question and I hope this is correct place to ask. I have gone through life being a virgo as my date of birth is August 29, 1969 but I read a book once that stated that on that day and that year only I was born as a Leo IIRC. I have not been able to find another resourse to confirm this but I just wonder what that means and if it is true. Thanks so much for your help and wonderful info!

Thanks to all for responding!! I had a chart done when I was a teen by a friends mother. So much of what she said has happened. I have forgotten so much though because I didnt have as much appreciation for what she was doing then as I would have now. I would love to have one done again just need to find someone I trust.

Yesterday's solar eclipse was in the nation's House 3 opposite Pluto radix. This is our trade axis and there will be more transformations to come in how we import, export and move goods. Eclipse on Pluto portends violence from abroad & in foreign adventures such as those countries where troops are stationed or where intelligence work is conducted. More initiatives and more aggression. Here's something to ponder. Capricorn (the Sign of our Pluto overseas) is not only an institutional Sign, a governmental Sign but also represents places that are dark, dank and dirty. Pluto eclipsed brings decay. Where is the rot setting in? As of tomorrow, Mars is on our ASC and our Uranus, so we can expect a rotten offensive from abroad. In addition, a situation long fermenting will be exposed by this eclipse, which could easily mean nuclear decay at dangerous levels, never heretofore reported in some of the "experimenting countries". It will take time for that to surface~this eclipse will last at least two years in its effects.

Progressed Mars in the health sector is also squaring the eclipse and those two planets. Pharmaceuticals are well entrenched and against reform as presently outlined. Having just visited Los Alamos, home of the World War II Manhattan Project which developed the atom bomb and other nuclear weapons, the reality of mass destruction is vivid in my mind. Quite scary and all too real. It's really beginning to feel like we're living in the vivid sci-fi bestsellers of the 20th century.

Astros....Do you see the economy for the United States getting any better in the near future? IMO, the real truth is being hidden from us. I think we're in for a very long recession. So many are losing their jobs and homes.

I'm also very concerned about government run healthcare. Is there any way to tell from the chart for the United States that if/when reform is passed, will it be only government run and will it be rushed through the process just to get it passed?

Artic Sea left port in Finland in July and entered the Strait of Dover with Coast Guard communication at 1:52 p.m., July 28. The vessel was again heard from off Brest at 1:30 a.m., July 30. This morning at 8:30, Artic Sea was in France's Bay of Biscay. During transit, it has suffered piracy attacks, the first one in the Artic and then, apparently in leaving the English sea lanes.

Today's horoscope for the ship position indicates a convergence of boats or ships coming to the aid of Artic Sea before Sunday (midnight). There will be successful armed intervention and confrontation. Russia at the ready!

The indicators in the analysis are Moon approaching Mars in the intercepted Tenth House. Angles to First House Mercury & Saturn and Seventh House Uranus. Pirates opposite Russian planets Jupiter-Neptune from House 12 of piracy. The day is ruled by Saturn (Saturday) and the hour is ruled by Mars: armed engagement.

There was an information blackout this past weekend as Russia & NATO formulated a locate and rescue operation. Thank God they solved the problem with all of those lives at stake. It is certainly understandable that misinformation was disseminated in order to accomplish the rescue. Since more information will emerge now that the crew and captain are safe, maybe we will learn who those 12 masked men were, if their identity is known at this point.

Time to examine Pakistan! Neptune-Jupiter is in long term square to the Paki Moon. Saturn is squaring their Mars and Uranus opposing their Mars. This reflects the belligerence and recent, very recent violence which was extreme. Here is another factor of instability. The present gov't was born on a Saturn Uranus square and now Saturn and Uranus are in opposition, afflicting Paki Mars. Earthquakes at the top and bottom of their political structure. Furthermore, the nation was born with an out of bounds Mars. Wild and volatile energy astride nuclear reactors.

Tropical storm Ketsana has hit the islands of The Philippines hard, especially Manila and Rizal Province. The situation is dire, with flood waters at the roofs. The Philippine chart is that of independence from the U.S.A. and Sun shares Sign Cancer with Saturn. When Mars hit the mid-point of those two planets, Ketsana poured in. Virgo rises in the national chart, so the islands are dealing with Saturn in the First House opposite Uranus and transit Sun on national Neptune, inundating them and causing great structural damage.

I just communicated w/ our HOUSEMOUSE. She truly appreciates your prayers and thoughfulness. She's preparing for the winter which is expected to be a tough hard season. Dehydrating veggies vs canning as she just doesn't have enough time in the day with all her responsibilities-and has installed a well with a 'hand' pump in case they loose power. Big time survival mode and wife partner to her dear dear husband who requires much care.

We miss her MUCH.

This subject has caused many a flare up, but in respect to astrology, accurate charts, and the country, I believe it's important. I'm not looking for a debate, just thought it's something everyone may want to ponder.

I was just going through my astrology folder when I found the birth certificate released giving Pres. Obama's birth information. It never struck me before because I was only interested in place and time, not much else. But here's the thing, it's not a copy of his original birth certificate, it's a new fangled computerized version, meaning, someone merely typed in the information at some point, it wasn't photocopied.

As a genealogist, I've have my share of frustration with computer birth certificates. Many times the information is downright wrong or someone has altered a fact. Some examples:

On my daughter's original copy of birth certificate, it states the town and parish where she was born, "Metairie, Jefferson Parish" which is unincorporated. On her new computerized form, it gives her place of birth as "Rural Jefferson Parish", giving the impression we were out in the woods somewhere, which is certainly not the case. Our area couldn't be more city if we tried.

My father's original copy of his birth certificate has his birthdate correct. The computerized version has the wrong year (a typo?). They refused to correct it even though I had his original (waterlogged) copy to prove they were wrong.

There are other similar examples, but I won't bore you with that.

Back to the Obama record, it says he was born in Honolulu, on 4 August 1961, at 7:24PM. His mother is listed as "Caucasian", his father is listed as "African". Since when is AFRICAN a race? Would that have been listed on his original certificate? I doubt it. Africa is a continent, not a race, not a country. Barack isn't given a specific race. The race thing isn't the issue, it's the wording that has me puzzled.

In cases like his, shouldn't a photocopy of his original be issued? Makes one wonder.

Have the astrologers here been using his 7:24PM birth time? I read earlier in this thread someone used 7:11PM.

Just for the record, I had NO political party in mind. It wasn't a political question, it was an astrological question, with a bit of genealogy thrown in for clarity.
