In an exclusive interview with Woman’s Day, Jocelyn Frost described the accused wife killer as a "serial offending con man and a pathological liar".

The 68-year-old worked at Century 21 in Kenmore with Baden-Clay for four years and says during that time, she too fell victim to his lies and depravity.

In fact, the Brisbane resident was tricked out off hundreds of thousands of dollars by the now convicted murderer.

"I read up during his trial on character traits of a sociopath and he ticked far too many – he’s without conscience and a conniving control freak," Jocelyn says.

Date set for Baden-Clay appeal

Yesterday, a date was set for Gerard Baden-Clay’s appeal against his conviction for the murder of his wife Allison.

The Court of Appeal will hear the case on August 7 — more than a year after he was convicted and jailed for life.

The Courier-Mail has previously revealed Queensland’s top prosecutor will take charge of the appeal, as the former Brisbane real estate agent serves his time without contact with his daughters.

Director of Public Prosecutions Tony Moynihan will replace senior Crown prosecutor Todd Fuller for the appeal.

Allison Baden-Clay memorial may be moved

A roadside memorial for murder victim Allison Baden-Clay could be relocated due to ongoing safety concerns.

The sandstone memorial, erected beside a Brisbane road near where Ms Baden-Clay's body was found, is set to be audited by the Department of Transport and Main Roads next week.

Residents have complained the memorial has created a dangerous distraction to drivers because of its close proximity to a busy road.

The memorial was screened with trees and shrubs following the first safety audit and a speed limit review.

It's quite a large memorial along Mt Crosby Road, and there's some concern from residents about whether it's a safety hazard.

Yesterday the local MP, Christian Rowan, was due to meet with Allison's family to hear their thoughts on the move.

ALLISON Baden-Clay will become the face of family violence in a new campaign to reduce the shocking rate of murders in the home.

A foundation to be launched this week in the mum-of-three’s name will educate people about warning signs of emotional and physical abuse.

It has the support of her family and big name backing, with former governor-general Dame Quentin Bryce to be the patron.

The foundation will work with Queensland family violence campaigners and Australian of the Year Rosie Batty.

Ipswich bridge to be named after Allison Baden-Clay

An Ipswich bridge in the favourite hue of Allison Baden-Clay will become a permanent memorial to the Queensland mother, killed by her husband in a crime that shocked the state.

Police Minister and Ipswich MP Jo-Anne Miller said she had spoken with Allison's parents, Geoff and Priscilla Dickie, about declaring the bright yellow pedestrian bridge in her electorate 'Allison's Bridge' during last week's launch of the foundation established in her honour.

The bridge over the Ipswich motorway will also serve as a permanent reminder of domestic violence, Ms Miller said.

"Her family are very excited about it," Ms Miller said

GERARD Baden-Clay has sensationally had his conviction for his wife’s murder set aside and replaced with a manslaughter conviction in the Court of Appeal this morning.

The shock judgment by Chief Justice Catherine Holmes, Justice Hugh Fraser and Justice Robert Gotterson was delivered four months after the former real estate agent argued his murder conviction was unreasonable.

Legal experts suggest Baden-Clay could be out of prison in as little as four or five years, after already serving three-and-a-half years.

He could also still appeal against his manslaughter conviction to the High Court, as he is yet to admit any involvement in his wife’s death.

GERARD Baden-Clay murdered his wife Allison, Australia’s highest court has ruled.
In the final ruling on one of Queensland’s longest running court sagas on Wednesday morning, the High Court of Australia reinstated Baden-Clay’s murder conviction.
The decision overrules a controversial ruling made by the Queensland Court of Appeal last year that set aside the father-of-three’s murder conviction and substituted it with manslaughter.
He has no further avenues of appeal.
The one-time real estate agent will now continue to serve his life sentence.
He will not be eligible for parole until 2027.
Outside court, Allison Baden-Clay’s jubilant and tearful best friend, Kerry Anne Walker, said today “was a good day for the good guys”.
“Gerard Baden-Clay murdered his amazing wife Allison,” Ms Walker said outside court.

Today, her family admitted how difficult the occasion was compared to previous years.

"July is always a tough month for us particularly because it is Allison's birthday," sister Vanessa Fowler told 9NEWS.
