Just stumbled upon Bronwyns case on spotify.
Wow! just wow.
Yet another incredible deep dive investigative podcast from the exceptional Hedley Thomas.
That man deserves a police inspector badge.
Seriously.
He does more to solve cases than some cops on the pay roll.

Disappointing this one isn't getting the public notoriety as previous cases but it's making phenomenal inroads all the same.

Bet JW is not sleeping too well these days.

Will be binging into 'Brownyn' episodes starting tomorrow.

3 episodes into 'Bronwyn' and Jonathon Whitfield is either a very, very unlucky victim of circumstance or he has a lot of answering to do.

The evidence, though circumstantial, is quite compelling. However, the police who went through the motions of investigating the case did about as good a job as those who originally 'investigated' Lyn Dawson's disappearance. Bumbling fools in both cases!

The similarities are alarming to say the least

Held back from listening past episode 6 of Hedley's 'Bronwyn' podcast after getting the heads up from @DRT that Hedley has stopped at 10 episodes for the time being.

Couldn't wait any longer and now listening to episode 7. Hard to believe the police were so blase with some of the information they received.

TV show on Bronwyn
Pretty sure I saw an advertisement the other day for a TV story on Bronwyn's disappearance but despite searching for further info on-line, can't seem to find anything. Anyone help here??

More than 2,500 Australians are classed as “long-term missing persons” and in the case of Bronwyn Winfield, it’s been three long decades. Now, a podcast has shed new light on the case, revealing new evidence which could finally lead to answers for her family.

If I was a certain aging surfer with a yellow board I'd be getting a bit concerned.

The sleuthing done around this podcast is excellent. Tearing apart everything to turn around assumptions, the interviews, and resconstruction.

From 'The Front' episode above :

1/ Bronwyn's daughter Crystal claims she was recently duped out of her life savings of $300k. At the risk of sounding condescending, it was a very naïve decision on her part that cost her the money.

2/ Episodes 11 and 12 of 'Bronwyn' have been uploaded but at this stage are only available to subscribers. Hopefully us mere mortals will have access to them soon.

Still waiting for 'Bronwyn' episodes 11 and 12 to appear.

Off topic, but what about the arrest being made in the Easey Street murders after 47 years? To my surprise, can't seem to find a thread on it. Anyone??

Thanks. Found it about a minute before I saw your response.

'The Australian' are taking an inordinately long time to upload Episodes 11 and 12 of 'Bronwyn'. They were released to subscribers about 3 weeks ago?

Perhaps they are going cut off supply in the hope of forcing people to subscribe?
