Wow just watched his plea. Goes to show that regardless of what we WANT to convey if we’re lying our voice, tone and body language scream ********!
I’d love to see her come home but I think this is highly unlikely [emoji25]

I only just now saw this video...has it already been posted?
Husband at different angle than the other one I saw--
More coverage, too:

http://www.smh.com.au/video/video-n...nd-pleas-for-wifes-return-20171003-4ypm0.html

that angle was interesting...... but even so.. really.. his heart isn't in it. He is trying to get up to speed, he knows he has to inject some sort of emotion to engage with the public, the great unwashed, as it were, ... strangers, out of his comfort zone, but he just can't pull it off!!....

RSBM

My first thought about that letter to the editor:

... was that surely she couldn't be serious. The sticker on her luxury car, and telling everyone who asks, and even those who don't, where her kids go to school? :waitasec: Tongue in cheek?

That's what I thought

I keep thinking i can kinda see the wheels turning - while he is verbalizing his "plea", he is saying "oh f*! oh f* oh f*" in the back of his mind...

I totally agree, it was probably a response to other entitled letter writers.
It does not sit with her talk about palliative care, pricing of pharmaceuticals and advocating for human capital.

I do note, however, that the supposed "friend" that the hs dug up is a staunch "no, no, no and no" voter

The articles keep saying the husband makes an emotional plea...
so I keep looking for another interview....

that shows...
an...
...emotional plea.

No helicopters or other search/police vehicles spotted since I last posted
Just did a little drive through town. It's very quiet. A few SES vehicles at the command post but no police vehicles and no active searching that I could see. There was an SES vehicle that went through town at about 4pm with lights and sirens but other than that nothing. It's still very light and sunny here.

I also want to know what time she was reported missing...anyone know?

:sigh:Those wheels!! .the cogs!.... What he didn't think thru was.. .. acting requires a lot of practice... that's why the best get paid a lot, ... he probably didn't even think to practice 'grief' and 'fright' and 'bewilderment'... he had to get the tone right, the construct and content of his message.. . he thinks he just has to say she is missing. Let's look for her. Tell us if you see her... . the idiot...

It must have been prior to 5:29 (am? pm?) yesterday, Monday 2nd October. And last heard from later on Saturday night. Perhaps they waited for her to come home on Sunday night before reporting her missing on Monday?

POLICE SEARCH FOR ELISA CURRY
Monday, 02 October 2017 05:29
Police are currently searching for missing woman Elisa Curry.

Elisa was last seen at a residence on Aireys Street, Aireys Inlet about 10.30pm on Saturday night.

Used to go to Airey's as a kid. We were there several months ago. It would be so dark at that time of night to go walking there are also very few roads/streets to turn off to (most being uphill).....seems very odd.

It doesn’t strike me as a place to go for a close-to-midnight run alone. To tell you the truth, I wouldn’t go running on the shoulder of the Great Ocean Road during the day, let alone at night — especially around the headlands. The drivers of what pass for tour buses scare the bejeezus out of me even when I’m in a car.

Didn't a neighbour earlier on report there had been troubles within the marriage?

Anyway from your heraldsun link inkpink, Elisa seems much loved and valued by her friends:

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/vi...r/news-story/d536644942a700774ace22805ab90ea6

Friend Jon Minney said he last received text messages from Mrs Curry on Friday night and she appeared to be in “good spirits”.
He said Mrs Curry is an intelligent woman, educated in law and economics, and a reliable friend.
“She was always there for her friends, especially her girlfriends in need,” Mr Minney said.

It might just be a slip of the tongue but I don’t like it when anyone uses past tense to describe a misper.

I think the police agree with you both.

Inspector Peter Seel said there was no indication Ms Curry went running on Saturday night and if she did go for a run, it was more than likely on the Sunday morning.

Here we go again....

Another wifey goes for a walk into oblivion after a blue.....to clear her mind after watching the footy show and miraculously her phone goes missing and turned off never to be found.

Anyone knows what the husband does for a crust? I ask because there is usually a pattern that starts to form. Business going bad eh?
