LE would've had access to all of Karen's mobile phone activity for the time shortly before her disappearance. I doubt they would refer to phone activity as being on the 28th if it happened on the 29th, even if it was the night of the 28th.

I'd be interested to reread any statements that Karen's phone was switched off on the day she went missing, as it would be in stark contrast to the fact that her phone pinged in Digger's Rest & then in Gisbourne that day. I do vaguely remember that Borce claimed he was trying to call her but it kept going to voicemail, but that doesn't necessarily mean he said her phone was off - it could've hypothetically gone to voicemail after ringing out.

Tim Day's first press conference & related news coverage seemed clear that these pings coincided with the presence on CCTV of a car matching Karen's, which suggests her phone was still switched on shortly before noon on the 29th.

If Borce made claims early on that Karen's phone was actually off at those times, then that's yet another lie counting against him.

2:16 Borce - I started calling her phone and there was no answer it went straight to message bank.

Does going straight to message bank mean the phone is off?

Not necessarily. It could be off, or it could be on and just has been diverted straight to message bank ... so that it doesn't ring at all. People often divert it that way while they are in business meetings.

Of course, we are believing what Borce says when we consider these things. Police may have since proven otherwise. He may not have tried to call. But if his calls landed on the phone/message bank - even if he did not leave a message - police will be able to see that in his phone records.

It means the phone is off, or the person was on another call and had disabled call waiting/3-way chat. These days it's a pretty sure bet that the phone was off.

It is also possible that a call goes straight to voicemail if the handset owner has blocked that specific caller from calling them, or if the phone was set to divert all calls to voicemail, but telecommunications records would show whether this was the case or not. So the police would know if the phone was off & if the phone was switched on, they would also know whether Borce was lying about it going straight to voicemail or not.

Regarding our Australian Gum trees, Eucalyptus, Red Gums etc.

Australia has transported them WORLD WIDE. found everywhere !!!
Our Top South Australian Microbiologist,
Prof David Ellis made a wonderful World Wide Discovery.
Check out Cryptococcus neoformans.
I was present, during this lecture.

Check his discovery re ' finding orange peel, at a bus stop, under one of these trees.
He discovered the source of these HORRID human infections.
This brilliant, humble Scientist, gave me a superb reference.

Police reveal wonderful findings, but Scientists, in all their different specialities MUST never be forgotten.
They provide so MUCH, in solving cases.
They provide the proof, the evidence. work together in our different specialities.
This is ONLY ONE example, of their work re 'nfections in our Eucalyptus Red Gum

So, this Australian Gum, plus numerous varieties, could be found everywhere.

Great ThaiBali. If you recognize this as being only an Australian Scene, than good. It may be. I am stating, these trees are found world wide. Check Forestry of Eucalypts in South East Asia

What an interesting story. Do you think your 3 year old recognised him [emoji23]? I've shown a few people who are not familiar with the case, photos of him smiling and twinkly and we all have agreed it's hard to believe he has done it. When he is on the back foot though I see that stoney look come out.

Fancy seeing him at Highpoint. I used to be a cosmetic counter biatch there and keep wondering if I ever met any of the Ristevski family. I'd have conniptions now if BR showed up for moisturisation advice!

Ooh cosmetic biatch, im sure we would perhaps recognise each other. I have gone as far to tell my other half once i kick the bucket to scatter my ashes over the estee lauder counter.

:floorlaugh:....Yay Soso...please no more denim jackets with the fluffy trim... hipster denim flared jeans with wide belts... and please no more MoCassIns to wear in the bush especially when you get sprung by ACA while lookin' for a suitable place to hide "sumfink"...:gaah:

No wonder they didn't have much luck getting rid of all that stock through ALL their wide variety of Retail Outlets over their many years in retail...

Oh!...and lest not forget the pecan nuts they tried to sell to China...I wonder what eventually happened to them? :shame: :silly:...

BBM. Buy a case of pecan nuts and receive a FREE fur lined denim vest, great promo and incentive to buy pecan nuts. ;)

:laughing:Or Ole Borcey and Bro Vas might have put some of them into pretty little packets tied up with little pink bows in a section all on their very own in the Bella Bleu stores marked "On Special $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00".

Like Borcey and Vas...they're pretty hard nuts to crack :D.

You know matey, I'm wondering if there was an argument, or whether that was another piece of fiction to explain the need to 'go for a walk to clear her head'.

Maybe there was no argument. Maybe she was ambushed when she arrived home. IMO

Following along from the above link that Makara has added...

"Sarah who worked at Bella Bleu's struggling Broadmeadows clothing boutique has also been dogged by rumours that she and her mother were not getting on in the weeks before Karen went missing"...

What caused the rift between them?
Was Sarah wanting more say in how Karen should run the business?
Borce stated that Karen had had a bad day at work on the 28th June...(remembering that 30th June was the last day of the financial year)...
What was the cause of her having a bad day?

Things escalated when she arrived home that night, argument broke out and everything went downhill after that...MOO

Exactly! Can we believe a single word that he's said??

Karen went for a walk ...
He didn't leave the house ....
He drove over a bump and it fixed the fuel gauge ....
He turned around (way before Digger's Rest) and went home ...
His finances are absolutely fine ...
His finances are just peachy ...
Oh, and did I mention? There are no problems with his finances, all okay in that department.

It is seriously not hard to see why he quickly stopped talking to the police. How could he ever remember all the lies he has told, and stick to the same story repeatedly?!

Karen was only 47. IMO She looks older than her years, she looks tired and dehydrated. It's well over the 50's when things start heading head south.

Just too young, sweet thing.

I remember reading somewhere that Karen's friend Ms Tili who opened the ******** page to raise funds for Sarah, said that Karen never had much time to herself...but she liked to let her hair down and have a good time during the "80's Nights at Crown Casino"...

At least, Karen did have "some" fun nights then :happydance:...

Just posting these images again for anyone who may not have seen them. I posted the link to these images when I first posted them almost 12 months ago so it is somewhere in one of the early threads. I can't find it right now.

Hmm ... seems someone did this to you, Sarah. I wonder who that could be. Hopefully not the person you seem to be protecting, hey?

Spontaneous question ..... what does "GGMC cohorts" mean[emoji848]?
