I'm curious as to why that blunder was made. If she left to clear her head after an argument, wouldn't logic tell BR, leave the phone at home, not to have it (if he did have it) on and traveling miles away from home? Especially with his switched off, which I still find odd considering he had a missing spouse.

Just an idea, maybe he intended to make it 'look' like her car and phone were travelling together, like maybe she came back after her walk, grabbed her phone and her car and made to look like she left. But when he realised that is a poor story and that there were too many flaws (CCTV etc) the story changed to the faulty gage...

And there comes the missing minutes etc...

He didn't check for her phone, he was in such a ?Panic? that he didn't give it a second thought. My guess it was either in her pocket or in her handbag and he didn't check until it rang - he only checked the wallet for cash.

All valid points and I can only think the change of story would be due to panic and poorly thought decisions. The way they found Karen to me indicates it was all very rushed and poorly thought out.

The car they used yesterday had been driven hard on some dirt roads. I'm guessing every bit of dust, seeds and grime will be tested and matched against Karen's vehicle.

It is risible that Borce thought he could run Bella Bleu better considering the swamp his own 'businesses ' were in.. and that has a Balkan air about it too.. sweeping up the womans stuff... and Mama Ris too... her boy, indeedy....... her boys might be guests of the Governor for quite a while.
And I'm with you, re V not only ok ing it, but joining in on it, he would have white anted Karen every chance he got... she was so ... so... . uncompliant! They were the men, she wasn't..... .... Vlasko made it so obvious that his opinion of Karen was one of contempt and a certain sort of weary ownership , a task he hadn't finished with yet, a difficult job.. even though 'he didn't talk to her much'. he made out he knew her inner thoughts and plans..

Has anyone given thought to the chance of BR self harming? There is a lot of pressure on him - although he seems very resolved on just keeping tight lipped. I more so worry about SR. Who's she staying with and who's supporting her?

In the jill meagher doco the police mentioned one of the reasons they were hesitant about releasing cctv was the risk of bayley self harming. Are police in contact with SR telling her it'll be over (to some degree) soon? I believe SR is just another vitcim in this and worry about her, and also worry that if br does something stupid there will never be answers.

Google maps show a huge bridge just before Gisborn. Phone could have been pegged from passengers window down into the creek.

The thing is that Boris said Karen went for a walk to clear her head at 10:00am
If she was due at work any time before or in the period following her little walk. She would have phoned the store she owned and managed and said I will be late, I am not coming in today .....
Borce never mentioned Karen and her expected time to be at the store. He never said she was even due to be at work.

Sarah picked up on that I feel ... to upset to speak and *something* made her change her mind......she was due at work Dad!!

Unless of course this all happened the night before and they were the clothes she was in then. That would clearly mean Sarah knows what happened .

The car seen by one of our posters was a different model when the rego was checked. Not sure about the Reddit poster.

We haven't had any local say they have seen her car there since she went missing ..... no images or video of it at the house in the media at all.

I wonder if the media will be hunting down witnesses in the Macedon area today....to see if they saw the "re enactment" in the area yesterday .... as was rumored on one of the FB discussion pages ...

Have never seen the merc. On my way home from work, might have a little drive by.

I hope Sarah is staying somewhere else away from the media with caring people. She is both a product and a victim of the dynamics of the family in my opinion. AR, despite missing out on the 100k+education and money for rehab, has some advantages in that he has not learnt the art of facades, nor cares for them, and has the freedom to see the likely truth about what transpired.
