I was thinking the same thing today Sprockett. I heard via the radio that the dog bites/marks may have been a result of the animal trying to retrieve the young boy.

I've worked in shops like Karen's.
The owner was a women who would carry a heavy burden of finances and making everyone her friends. I was contstantly amazed with the personality of the owner who would be juggling book work and then walk out to greet a client like a long time friend and the clients absolutely loved her. They were loyal customers.
When I first started, the centre-management called and asked what our weeks taking were. I immediately called the owner who responded that the centre takes a percentage of her takings as well as the rent!

15 years the difference.
He went to live with them when he was about 15 yrs.

I have read he is 34? But when exactly did he go and live with his father at age 15. What year was it does anyone know? That's why i said if it was when Borce & Karen first were together?

But wasn't Karen just new in her relationship with her husband back then? If she was 47 when she died, and had been with BR for 25 yrs.? she would of been 22 yrs. old when she got with Borce. So 7 yrs. difference between her and AR if he was 15.

No . . . if Karen was married for 25 years, wedding would have been around 1991. But AR said he didn't know his father until he was 15, and he's about 33 now, so the earliest date for alleged abuse would be around 1999, and Karen would have been about 30.

This is the part that most interests me..."Im now a bit angry because if my father had addressed this situations with Karen, maybe this wouldn’t have happened".

This was before her body was found....

Wasn't his theory she ran away ..... living somewhere on a beach ( delusion) .....she was away from his main person of distain ....she was his "soulmate".

Shouldn't he have been happy .... that his "soulmate" was away from the "coward"...???

So there is a negative conatation put on this situation.....even before her body was found.... not a celebratory post ..... as would be expected.

Too many contraditions of thought process.

Mr Rickard described in the police statement a long-running “situation”, which he claimed developed later between him and Mrs Ristevski.
He would not comment further on this when approached at his home in Melbourne’s semi-rural Diggers Rest yesterday. But he confirmed he would make a more detailed statement to the police within a month.
He yesterday added that he did not believe his father had killed his stepmother and instead thought she had fled.
In the statement, submitted to Sunbury police station on July 22, he wrote that “a situation developed between myself and Karen which I’d rather not fully detail at this time’’.

People that resort to substance abuse are generally weak minded people IMO. They are usually also on a sympathy and attention trip. At AR's age he has no excuses to not get some therapeutic help to deal with his problems.
I have personal experience in this and unless an adult is willing to help themselves no one else can do it for them. My own daughter died at a young age from alcoholism. She went and talked to a Dr. and the Dr. gave her options and she didn't take them. But yet the great Aussie drinking culture.

I don't know.
I thought he said he phoned her about 2 weeks before in regard too??
But CR said that AR girlfriend said he phoned because he wanted Karen to pay for rehab:dunno:

AR's ex went into quite some detail about it all early on. Not sure if any of its in the earlier threads.

I think it really for me boils down to would you believe what a drug addicted/affected person tells you? And who else can back up those claims? If he told anyone as a teenager in the family which i thought i read ages ago he told an aunt?, and it came from a SM page, then did that person get him some help? For a start to report the alleged molestation.

Well, if this 'situation' was media conjecture, a lot of pages of these threads have gone down the tubes due to the conjecture.

Because, to me, a 'situation' does not mean an 'affair'. An affair is ongoing, longer lasting intimacy, not a one night stand or a close friendship.

So was Ant's ex-girlfriend talking about an affair, or an incident, or a bunch of made up stuff that she very soon after left Ant about?

From what I can recall he phoned her two weeks before to discuss the situation implying about the abuse..... some things were quoted...

He also adds that he texted he was going to kill himself....but there was no time allocated to this in the media that I read...

Was it possible he texted that on the morning she went missing.....??

Its possible..... Maybe stepmum and Dad went for a drive together out of concern....and things went pair shaped from there.

I wholeheartedly believe Borce has tried to help his son over the years..

If what has been posted is to believed. .....addiction to substance has been an issue from early on......and he was only finally thrown out if the house 4 years ago at the age of 27....

Thats a hell of a lot of putting up with drama...

Karen has been descibed as a caring compassionate human being.....I can't IMO see someone like this giving up on a needy soul..

I agree, he has been given enough opportunity to sort himself out, but maybe he needs to hit rock bottom first, if it doesn't kill him in the process. Sadly destructive lifestyle patterns tend to do that to people.
