Kiesha mystery deepens as leads run dry into little girls disappearance
POLICE investigating the mysterious disappearance of six-year-old Kiesha Abrahams have met with further frustration after interviews with more than 30 child sex offendersliving within 2km of her home cleared them all.
The Sunday Telegraph can reveal that almost three dozen individuals on the NSW Child Protection Register were questioned by detectives after Kiesha went missing in August last year.
She was last seen about 9.30pm on July 31 when her parents put her to bed at their family's Hebersham home, in outer western Sydney.

All hope is gone as police reveal Kiesha is dead

IT IS the conclusion police hoped they would never have to reach.
Six months after six-year-old Kiesha Abrahams disappeared, officers will tell the coroner the missing western Sydney schoolgirl is dead.
Police had refused to rule out the possibility Kiesha was abducted from her Mt Druitt home during the night, or that she wandered into the hands of the wrong person.
Now homicide detectives said they were treating her disappearance as a murder.

Sounds like they're gearing up to charges or at least increased pressure on Rob and Kristi as they focus in on them. I hope someone who knows something cracks so charges can be brought and there is justice for Kiesha.

Let's hope that the renewed media focus will bring Kiesha back into the minds of people all over, and that someone will come forward with information that will provide for a breakthrough in finding her, either alive or deceased.

Police plead for new Kiesha Abrahams information
SIX months may have passed, but the search for missing Mt Druitt girl Kiesha Abrahams continues in earnest.
Speaking to the Mt Druitt St Marys Standard this week, the officer in charge of the investigation, Det-Insp Russell Oxford, said homicide squad detectives are still based at Mt Druitt police station and are ``hitting the streets’’ every day in an effort to either locate the missing six-year-old or determine her fate.
He said investigators are still treating a number of people as suspects but added that police were still hopeful that somebody would offer up some new information on the young girl’s whereabouts.

Detectives don't believe Kiesha was kidnapped
Six months after she was reported missing, police have all but ruled out family claims that Sydney girl Kiesha Abrahams was kidnapped from her home.
The six-year-old's mother and step-father reported the disappearance on August 1, but police found no-one outside the immediate family had seen the girl for three weeks.
Kiesha Abrahams' mother said the girl had been abducted from her bedroom in Mt Druitt in Sydney's west.
The head of the investigation, Detective Inspector Russell Oxford, has told the ABC that blood matching Kiesha Abrahams' DNA has been found in the home, but the samples are too small to prove she fell victim to violence.
He says forensic investigators have failed to find any trace of an intruder.

Six-year-old Kiesha Abrahams was reported missing on August 1, 2010.

A FILMMAKER plans to make a documentary about the disappearance of six-year-old Mt Druitt girl Kiesha Abrahams, who has been missing since July last year.

The Mt Druitt Standard reports amateur Plumpton filmmaker Saad Adam is a much talked-about new talent in the movie world following the success of his film The Lives of Mt Druitt Youth.

Bumping for Kiesha - looks like this case is going cold.

i wonder how long it will take to get the coronial inquest underway? hopefully then, as more evidence comes to light someone will step forward and tell the police what they know.do they normally release inquest details to the media?

Jogging memories on Kiesha Abrahams through film
SAAD Adam remembers the day Kiesha Abrahams went missing and said like many others he thought the ordeal would be over within a few hours.

``I thought she’d be returned to her family and that would be the end of it,’’ he said.

But almost eight months later, the whereabouts of the six-year-old remains a mystery. Like the Lindy Chamberlain case 30 years ago, many people have come forward with strong accusations of what they think happened to Kiesha.

Some hold hopes that the little girl is still alive.

I hope Mr. Adams film brings renewal to this sweet little ones case. May she finally be found and justice carried out to those who have done this to her.

Should a rose garden replace Kiesha Abraham's toy memorial?
A SEA of colourful toys, candles and flowers once covered the front of missing Mt Druitt girl Kiesha Abrahams’ home on Woodstock Ave.
But, eight months since her disappearance, most of the tributes have been cleared and the remaining items are only a fragment of the grand community shrine that once existed.
Ahead of Kiesha’s seventh birthday on April 22, some residents want to install a living memorial in the form of a flower garden in place of weathering teddy bears and letters.
