Heading from Logan to Ipswich has tolls, so inland is a possibility.I would assume so as thats the only area that has tolls.

NocookiesTHE Queensland man wanted by police in connection with a murdered girl dumped in a barrel was reportedly in a relationship with the suspected victim who was less than half his age.
Queensland Police today revealed that Zlatko Sikorsky, 34, may be able to assist with their investigation into the body of a teenage girl found in a barrel on the back of a ute.
Detectives say Sikorsky is armed and dangerous, and have warned anyone who spots him to stay away and call triple-0. He also has an extensive criminal history which includes robbery and extortion offences for which he has served time in jail.
A female resident of the estate, who did not want to be named, said the driver of a black ute threatened her with a shotgun and offered her money to be let in.
She said the ute was badly damaged, “the windows were all shot out, bullet holes through the bonnet”.
“He pulled out a shotgun and said to me and my partner ‘I’ll give you two grand if you let me in the gate right now’. So we lifted up the gate and let him in,” said the woman.
“I was just scared, didn’t know what to do … and then we looked in the car, in the back of the ute, as he drove past and saw just a barrel and an arm,” she told the ABC.
“I went home and cried, didn’t know what to do.”
The witness spent Thursday morning at Logan police station, making a formal statement to police.
“He was a big white dude, tattoos everywhere,” she said.
“The bonnet was flipped up over the windscreen, he was right down looking through the arch. I was surprised he was still driving.”
Sikorsky is well known to authorities, who fear he may be carrying weapons.
Police had already been searching for the 34-year-old, who was already wanted on a return to prison warrant.
“We wish that no person approach either Mr Sikorsky or the vehicle but to identify his whereabouts and to ring police immediately,” Detective Acting Inspector Scott Furlong said.
Investigators believe he’s still in Queensland, somewhere between Logan and the Gold Coast.
What we know about missing teen Larissa BeilbyLarissa Beilby was in Year 12 at Craigslea State High School, but according to friends, she hadn’t been attending classes.
Seven News has been told she left the home she shared with her dad, sister and brother because of a disagreement, and was living in youth accommodation in Sandgate before moving in with her boyfriend a few weeks ago.
Through this time she posted regularly on her social media accounts, but then she began sharing concerning details allegedly about being the victim of violence.
When Larissa stopped posting online, serious questions were raised about her safety.
Mr Sikorsky was sentenced to five years in prison on September 23, 2016, in the Brisbane District Court over a string of serious offences, but was eligible for parole on October 7, 2016.
He faced four counts of extortion, two counts of deprivation of liberty as well as one count each of robbery in company, robbery armed in company and entering a dwelling with intent whilst armed.
In 2015, Mr Sikorsky faced court for charges including robbery with violence, deprivation of liberty, assault occasioning bodily harm in company and possessing tainted property.
In 2013, he was sentenced to less than a year imprisonment for more than 60 offences.
These included possessing dangerous drugs, disqualified driving, stealing, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, entering a property to commit an indictable offence and receiving tainted property.
In 2012, Mr Sikorsky was found guilty of unlawful weapon possession, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possessing tainted property, disqualified driving, possessing unlawful explosives and possessing drug utensils.
False alarm after shops scoured in manhunt sparked by body in barrelPolice swarmed a Gold Coast shopping centre on Thursday evening as part of the search for Zlatko Sikorsky, the man wanted over the discovery of a body in a barrel in a ute tray.
However, after scouring the complex for an hour the search was called off and police declared the incident a false alarm.
I'm new to this thread. But is it possible the body is that of the missing teen?
Yes, I don’t understand this too. As there have been no sightings of him, one could assume he has taken his own life in forest/bush land in the south east qld area.
Sure, all decent people have records like his son's.Rubbish??????
Tattooed man still on the run 40 hours after body found in barrel
Sikorsky’s father told The Courier Mail people needed to “wait for police to do their job”.
“Hopefully all of this is nothing but rubbish,” he said.
“My son, he is a decent person.”
