So we have the subservient, dolly bird Marilyn devoting her everything to keeping her unfaithful husband Paul satisfied. While Lyn, who has a whole lot more substance to her, struggles with the equally unfaithful Chris because he wants her to be just like Marilyn.

It’s not even like Paul was faithful to Marilyn. He still continued to be inappropriate with younger women. IMO

But maybe Dolly Bird Marilyn did just enough to keep herself alive, whereas sadly, Lyn wasn’t so fortunate.

Or maybe Chris was just so infatuated with JC at that point that nothing else mattered, and it wouldn’t have mattered if Lyn looked like a Barbie doll - as Chris was by that point so obsessed with JC.

If you ever meet Lynette Dawson,she was beautiful,attractive, and you would have no hesitation if she was out to ask her out on a date or movie or dinner, Lynette did try to work thing out with Chris, Lynette changed her hair colour she was not overweight, she was stunning.
 
I think, in the photo posted of a Christmas party where Helena Simms had written “last photo of my lyn”, Lyn’s at the back with her arms folded next to Chris- and she does seem to have darker hair - when compared with other people in the photo.

She was certainly still beautiful- but Chris seems quite shallow. Shanelle mentioned in her book that he had said something like “I should have tried harder with your mother, it’s a pity she let herself go”, from this it makes it seem like he really just values looks over substance.

Nah, I just think he’s a straight-out paedophile.

IMO, it wouldn’t matter what Lyn did; he was into school girls, underage girls. Girls that he could manipulate and with which he had that relationship of a “power dynamic” that came from him being in the responsible position as their teacher. He’s a predator. And a murderer.

It’s got nothing to do with Lyn’s hair colour or her weight. Or anything. He’s just a straight out creep.

JC said she found Chris in their pool with schoolgirls when they lived in Queensland, years into their marriage. That, she says, is when the penny dropped for her that she might be at risk of being eliminated, just like Lyn was.

Have read/heard that from JC a couple of times now but not always with mention of the girls in the pool. Can't remember specifically where I heard her include the girls in the pool but guessing it was from either Rebecca Hazel's book or Rebecca's recent interview with Andrew Rule. Definitely heard it and can understand how it sent chills up JC's back and she said she couldn't get out quick enough and then visit the police to make a statement.

Yeah so he’s just a freak, and clearly JC could see history repeating itself, or feared it was about to.

I wonder if Chris would have re gifted Lynette’s jewellery again if he had had the opportunity to get rid of JC? She’s so fortunate to have escaped from that situation alive.

Maybe so, I still have a secret about JC, she walked in to Lynette's house ,when Lynette was missing and didn't ask questions what type of obedience servant was JC , to Chris and Paul? I know she had nothing to do with Lynette's disappearance ,but they're still a question JC must answer?
Just sliding a firecracker under the police's ?
There is another woman missing directly linked to this case? Questions have to be asked how come Paul Dawson hasn't been arrested, what was the relationship between Chris Dawson Paul Dawson the police?

Oh the hair colour I mentioned because @Witness 28 mentioned Lynn had dark hair when he saw her on the night she disappeared. It appears as though in that last photo Lynn has darker hair.

100% he is a creep and a paedophile.

I thought JC covered her involvement in the more recent trial? That she was invited into the home, and that she was told Lynn was gone. Is she somehow linked to another missing woman as well?

I thought the whole situation is still under investigation and that Paul and other teachers would be a part of it.

Hi EssieMarie83, no JCi s not responsible in any way of the disappearanceof a 26 year old police are investigating, the dilemma is they're investigating one of their own.

20 April 1984, I won't say her name, I don't trust the police, that is the date she disappeared
