Mr Price is also expected to be questioned over a sex attack, two assaults and an attempted carjacking in the western suburbs this morning.

Police said a man approached a 26-year-old man on a foot-bridge near Devonshire Rd, Sunshine, at about 10am.

The offender then assaulted the man and stole his mobile phone. The victim was taken to hospital.

It is believed the same man then tried to car-jack a car belonging to a 77-year-old Braeside man in McCracken St.

The would-be thief then fled.
At 11.20am, a man walked into a shop on Harvester Rd and physically and sexually assaulted a staff member.
The victim was taken to Sunshine Hospital.

Just like you all I have been following along, so saddened over Masa's death. I am so glad he was caught so soon, but am super mad to learn of his history. When will our system change so these individuals no longer have opportunities to hurt the innocent?

SEAN Christian Price of Albion allegedly went on a criminal spree after police claimed he murdered a Doncaster teenager Masa Vukotic on Tuesday night.

In a five minute bail hearing tonight, Price was charged with the murder of the 17-year-old Canterbury Girls’ Secondary College student.

He was also charged with rape, three assaults and two robberies which police say he committed before handing himself in to a Sunshine police station at 11.30am today.

My son is the same age as Masa and share many mutual friends...she had 2 very private FB pages...the media is pulling from the public pictures only....so we just get a small snap shot of her from these. So sad. My heart breaks for the family and for all these young girls in their final year of school....it has hit so close to home.

I'm so sorry for you all, ediethedog. I hope your son is ok. Unfortunately I know from personal experience how much this type of event hits you when it's close to home. I'm still feeling the effects over a year later.

I was a little suspicious of the boyfriend at first, but I'm very happy to be wrong. My thoughts are with him, Masa's family, and those poor girls. Such a terrible thing in such an important year of their lives.

Neighbours tell of dismay at arrest of Sean Price

SEAN Price has been described as a loner whose strange nature and volatility intimidated others.

Those who knew Mr Price from sharing accommodation recently said he loved to take marathon exercise sessions on a punching bag.

Mr Price, who has a strong, wiry build, was also known to be a keen and skilled martial arts exponent.

Residents from one of his former homes noted he was clearly isolated from others.

Observers said this was partly because he was not hesitant to express his feelings, often in a physical fashion.

In one incident, a number of cars were allegedly damaged when Mr Price’s emotions were running high.

OMG! He was clearly a 'known' danger to the health and safety of others, especially women. So why was he released back into the community to wreak havoc on others? He can't be rehabilitated IMHO. Again, as in the Adrian Bailey case, as a community concerned for the safety of our citizens, we have serious questions of the Victorian Parole Board and Victorian Parliament. My opinion only.:furious:
